[resolved] Osu doesn't update (mac)

Problem details: These days I was playing osu! and when I passed a beatmap it appears a message saying: ERROR: Your version of osu! is too old to submit scores! Please run the updater.
But I tried a few times to update osu! but the problem it was still there. I deleted osu! and downloaded but appears the same message saying error.
If someone can help me, will be great. Thank you

osu! version: Stable 20171227.2

Your osu version is Stable 20171227.2 which is 11 months old, are you sure you've updated osu?

Yeah I updated osu like 6 times, but I think that doesn't works or something idk

Can you confirm what the version number listed at the bottom of the options menu actually says?

Try either of these things:

Follow the "Updating the osu! executable" step from this thread: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/679205 OR,
Try downloading this unofficial update to see if it works: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/682197

Now i'm starting all from zero, I will try to follow the instructions, if I have an issue I will let you know. Thank you for the help

Now I finished downloading osu! and you really helped me a lot. Finally, it works well and I don't receive any error messages, thank you very much <3
