[Archived] Osu! randomly lags while playing

Ok so, getting things out of the way: I don't have video or storyboard on, no shaders, everything that could give me lag is off, leaderboard and interface is also off, I don't have any other app open other than osu! beta, my computer is around 7 or 8 years old

Idk if my osu lags cuz the pc it's old (prob not because of that) or because my osu folder has way too many files inside (such as the beatmaps) cuz once I started playing osu! my osu didn't even lag when I was with other apps open.

If I delete most of my beatmaps will the lag decreasse? (I have around 2k beatmaps)

I have 4.5k beatmaps and my game doesn't lag; can you tell us your pc specs?

Ehm do I need to send a screenshot of them? like, if yes, then the problem would be that the pc is in portuguese
please just tell me the name of exact thing you want to know like, physic memorie?

You don't need to take a screenshot, just post your CPU, GPU, RAM and storage space.

You don't need to take a screenshot, just post your CPU, GPU, RAM and storage space.

If you don't have a graphics card at all and just a 2GHz CPU you'll need a better one or a GPU

Any suggestions on a low price CPU component for a Toshiba Laptop?

Get a new laptop.

Laptops don't have interchangeable parts like conventional desktops.
