i found a fix to this.

check out this video and download the two files in the description.
drag them both to your desktop.
do these steps for both:
1. run the file
2. in general, hit install certificate
3. press next and click place all certificates in the following store and browse
4. click trusted root certification authorities and hit ok
5. click next and finish
6. repeat with the other file
