4K Blossoming Lily - 4K difficulty with a lot of trill/repeated/polyrhythms patterns which requires a lot of control to keep good accuracy (especially on OD10), the most intense part with 1/4 168BPM jump/hand jacks is highly underrated in terms of star rating, will you be able to survive?

7K Fairy Dance - 7K difficulty made by _underjoy which features complex doublestair, trill and chord patterns. Combined with flowing pitched streams and dense chordtrill and jack sections, this difficulty tests the limits of your precision and consistency.

Big thanks to -MysticEyes for pushing this hardly for rank along with _underjoy. They put a lot of work with fixing timing.

Przez owe zmiany 00:28:316 (28316|3,28316|1) - te notki mógłbyś przenieść do [13]... Kontynuując myśl. By nie powtarzać [13] przenieś 00:29:353 (29353|2,29353|0) - do [14] i myślę że teraz całość wygląda cacy.

00:32:691 (32691|1,32727|3) - to przenieść do pierwszej i drugiej kolumny ewentualnie na 1 i 3 by było "powiązanie" z wcześniejszym [34] po czym idąc dalej by wszystko było ładnie i pięknie dać to 00:33:838 (33838|0,33838|2) - do [24] na co by w sumie i tak wskazywał pitch i idąc za ciosem przenieść 00:34:398 (34398|1) - do kolumny 1 i na koniec 00:34:924 (34924|0) - te notke dać do kolumny 2

Prefacing this check with the fact that this will need to be popped for two reasons:
1. The mapset needs to have the artist and title’s original Unicode artist/title while it currently only has the Romanized artist/title

2. More importantly the mapset needs drastic changes in timing in order to become rankable due to a large amount of unnecessary and incorrectly timed red lines. I think I can describe it better in a picture than in words. top is old, bottom is new.


Good news is I’ve spent around 30 hours fixing them so you don’t have to worry about doing that! (help) It was mostly removing lines and correcting BPMs through a lot of trial and error, though some were added for downbeats or for specific sections for speedups/slowdowns.

Now, there are still sections that I personally am unsure of, mostly some really tricky speedup/slowdown sections like 04:22:698 – (please no), 05:47:518 – (oh god why) and 06:53:030 – (no please not you again), also decimal BPMs scare me even if they work well and I’ll need to recheck time signatures as well since there’s some variation on that front in the piece. So I can’t guarantee that these will be the only timing changes made and I will absolutely need to do more double checking on what I fixed, but if any more changes will need to be made I will try to make this as easy on you two as possible. My main goal here was to at least give you guys something to work with so I can start actually doing pattern checks/potentially get more opinions on some timing points. The only thing you’ll have to do here is resnap notes, but almost all the notes will now fall on even intervals so hopefully that won’t be too difficult.

You’ll notice that I’ve halved almost all the BPMs, but I think it’s necessary in order to be accurate to the music. This is a classical piano piece, and from my musical experience classical pieces, especially flowy impressionist pieces such as Suiren, tend to have lower BPMs. Using 01:07:593 -as an example, this definitely doesn’t sound like it’s 240 BPM and it’s kinda hard to imagine someone conducting this at a speed so high. Good news is this doesn’t affect any grace notes, since 1/8 grace notes in the old timing still fall onto 1/16 snaps in the new timing.

Btw since this pop will likely revert this map into v2, I’ll do the actual modding part there. Otherwise it would be really awkward to respond to everything since the forum will be locked. Make sure to respond to the other stuff before taking care of the new timing, I’m going to be using the old timing for the actual pattern mod so timestamps will be messed up otherwise.

Sorry if this is formatted badly btw I’m not really used to v1. Anyway I really love this mapset. It’s a gorgeous song coupled with 2 beautifully unique difficulties that would be amazing in ranked. I will try my best to renominate this as soon as I can, though I can’t guarantee that it will be fast since the timing on here is so complex and I want to avoid any potential disqualifications due to that. But I can absolutely say that this is my top priority as a BN to rank right now so I will do my best to help you two.

Edit: ooo sweet it's still in v1 (still I'd suggest taking care of everything else before the timing part I'll start checking patterns and other stuff right now)

Edit 2: oh wait I was starting to mod here but I made a mistake of wanting to preview and the website forced me to log back on and now I lost all my progress. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I'm going to start with that on Friday then since I'm busy Thursday. If the timing is fixed let me know!

**Note that timestamps might be a few ms off if you already fixed the timing as I will mod directly from the difficulties as of their last update (however if the maps is updated I'll update the timestamps to the proper timing). This is done for the sake of speeding things up a bit.**

first off 02:37:006 - to 03:56:551 - is so good in the music just wanted to point that out

[Metadata]
- eiri-'s post about renaming underjoy to _underjoy in the tags is correct but I'll expand on it just in case it was done intentionally (since you might've added it in for people who'd type "underjoy" instead of "_underjoy"). The rule about adding GDers into the tags ( https://osu.ppy.sh/help/wiki/Ranking_Criteria#rules.2 , 2nd rule) implies that the full name of the GDer be used (especially since the other ranked maps with his GDs have "_underjoy" in the tags), however if you wanted to have both "_underjoy" and "underjoy" that should be fine.

- There's a new guideline in the RC for adding genre and language to tags (as in osu genres and osu listed languages not the actual genre and language) so I would suggest adding "Other" and "Instrumental"

- (and of course a quick reminder about the unicode artist/title thing in my previous post. I'm guessing it was taken care of already but just wanna make sure)

- 02:37:424 (157424|1) - since this is closer in pitch to 02:37:591 (157591|2) - than 02:37:539 (157539|0) - I think it should move to 4 to represent that

_underjoy and I went on a pretty intense adventure to correct timing stuff since my suspicion that things were still kinda off was definitely correct (..to say the least). And after a while we have now finally agreed that timing points should be good as is (though feel free to point out anything that you think is incorrect Tidek)

(I'd also suggest lowering hitsound volume from 35% to 20% in all spots since the other samples are kind of loud too though the other ones don't need new files imo)

Anyway after this since there may be some accidents due to resnapping, I'll start the final checking process after everything is resnapped. Massive thanks for the help from _underjoy and massive thanks for your patience Tidek.

Here is the 7K Diff with all the timing changes applied, notes resnapped
AND
I fixed the remaining BPM changes - they are red lines, so you need to normalize the BPM for them. Please use this (and only this) for reference when timing and resnapping the 4K diff. If anything else is wrong here, it's probably impossible to actually notice.

New timing implemented, all notes resnapped, replaced hitnormal hitsound and reduced HS volume to 20%.

Also, after discussion with _underjoy we decided to raise HP difficulty from 9,2 to 9,5, it overall works well with the hardest ending (final boss to clear) and idea of the song.
