I was working on a difficulty for about an hour and a half, but I noticed I capitalized the title wrong. So I went ahead and changed it. Thinking the usual question box would pop up ("Wouid you like to save changes" yadda yadda...) I pressed enter, but then it reloaded and literally everything got cleared.
I'm not joking when I say everything got deleted. The metadata? Gone. The Timing Points? Gone as well. My preogress? You guessed it, gone. I tried reverting to an older file in Windows, but none were found (even though I saved more than 10 times). I tried looking in the Songs folder in the hopes it somehow got misplaced, but it wasn't there. So I have ran out of ideas and I'm slowly running out of hope for being able to have the difficulty back.
Never (EVER) has this happened to me in all of the years I've been mapping, so I'm both dumbfounded and enraged that it did. If anyone has encountered this before, is it possible to revert whatever just happened?
