I think I might have a similar problem, I can barely log in and bancho doesn't work, either.
I have some screenshots that might be related to that problem. I can't be sure, though.

In the picture above, the arrows are pointing to my profile box- it doesn't show anything but my name, and when I try to view my profile, it says, "User not found".

And here, it shows a loading sign in box. However, it's been loading for ages. And it doesn't change.

One last thing- it says I have 99 beatmaps running, while I absolutely know I do not.

Also WhatDoesNEqual: press F5 in your song selection and give it some time to process. This isn't related to any connecting issues
