Green threads are threads that should be idolized and imitated.
Red threads are threads that have gone to shit or have been derailed beyond redemption.
"good thread": A thread that has a general quality of being excellent. This can be achieved by giving off the impression of much meaningful effort, or by being able to inspire subsequent quality shitposts and/or meaningful discussion. These qualities are not mutually exclusive.
As a general rule, only threads that are intended to be shitposts can achieve the title of being a 'good thread', as creating a thread about a topic that would easily generate meaningful discussion is too easy with a relatively normal topic, such as politics or sports.
