I am looking for a touchscreen laptop for school , i have a 1500$ budget.

i am mostly using it for school just know that there are alot of people that use touchscreen here


(i am from australia btw so possibly computers in australia)

well depends what you want/expect to be doing with it
lenovo yoga 720 has 7700hq, 16gb ram, gtx 1050, touchscreen. 1400 USD?

i recommend looking for 7700hq/i5 8250u, 8-16gb ram, gtx 1050, and ssd. if you look for it (I looked on ebay, amazon and gumtree) you should be able to find deals, but I didn't. maybe you can check at local stores or whatever else

that would give you the best price to performance at ~1100-1600 AUD

example:
7700hq should be getting 3000-4000fps in osu
8250u should be getting 2400-3500fps in osu

this one better (on sale even) also it's because yoga 720 has several models, the 1400 USD one seems to be 2699 AUD? I don't get it lol

3.1ghz turbo ---> 4ghz turbo
3mb cache ---> 8mb cache
128gb ssd ---> 256gb ssd
15% faster integrated gpu

All of that for 19 dollars

sadly there don't seem to be any ones with a dedicated gpu at that price but UHD 620 isn't underpowered for osu, so if you never play intense games you will not lose anything.

hmm, it might not be that great, but what about the HP Pavillion? It's what I have, and I use its touchscreen feature now that my mouse wont fucking work for some reason

From what I remember, it was less than 600 USD.

idk, its pretty good for what im looking for and working with.

sorry, im not too keen on its details and im not able to look at it atm, im using a small netbook thing.

i know this shit like a year old and I dont even play osu on the laptop, but i struggled to even get 60fps on osu. not even good at running 2d game
