Problem Details:

I have a complaint, and it is whenever I beat my score from 5 months ago, I actually don't beat the score, because the pp had been nerfed. I'm complaining because I beat so many maps, and I gained nothing, except for the fact that I apparently beat them, but when I go to the websites, I still have the score from months ago, worse than the one I beat. It was before the pp nerf, and I also beat No Title, the six star, but it was an fc, and it wasn't better than the one I got from months ago, which was a B, not an S. Please fix this touchscreen problem. I suggest removing Tom69's rank instead of "fixing" the touchscreen problem, since there isn't much of a problem except for someone fcing a song. I want to play osu and beat my scores for once and get the better amount of pp, and then I should get the same amount of pp every other osu player who uses tablet or mouse get, instead of getting literally one pp. This problem should be fixed in my opinion, as I can't beat any of my scores anymore, and can't get anymore pp.

I don't think the Touchscreen "fix" really fixed, and tbh, Tom69's rank should've just been taken away
instead of making it impossible for touchscreen players now to beat their scores, and literally earn one pp for every fc now.

The touchscreen nerf is a mod.

A Mod is placed on a map when there are enough teleports on the cursor during play.
When its added, the pp is adjusted to the nerf.
This would make your play from months ago a "No-mod" play, and your recent play as a "TS" play.
This means there are two different mod leaderboards.
And only the highest pp play (out of all the mod combinations on the map and difficulty) is counted for pp gain.
there is no problem to fix here.


And you should've complained about the nerf when there was the forum post talking about how to nerf touchscreen.

the nerf makes 0 sense i use touchscreen+keyboard and FC stream maps where touchscreen has disadvantage but still get less pp than tablet/mouse but
"ooooh touchscreen is so op at jumps it has more advantage we should make it give less pp on jumps and who cares if nerf make streams be worth shit aswell if they cant fc them anyways and who cares if there are 5-10 touch+keyboard players that actually can lol xdddddd"

i agree with nerfing the 2 handed touchscreen style, because i did my top rank with that and it totally didnt feel like it was worth that much, but all my other scores did give me that feeling that i got what i deserved. But now i FC shit that would give me nice pp and it isnt even 200 and it felt that it was a godlike play that i do once a month.

the nerf fucked me very hard in ranking, but now idc cuz i found other ways to have fun in this game so whatever happens to touchscreen now i dont really care, but the nerf is still super retarded and makes 0.000 sense

They said this is a temporary solution until osu!lazer comes out.
And yeah I can't make pp plays but I am having fun with TS+KB playstyle now.
