Problem Details:
Since building a new PC I had to copy all my beatmaps from my mac over to my PC. I was searching around I saw there was no easy way to do it without copying all the folders from my old laptop and into the osu! songs folder. I reopened osu and went to my songs and hit F5. Now I have some empty beatmaps named "//" I noticed in the top left that all the beatmaps that are named // are all the maps I copied over but starting with "._"

osu! version: 20171227.2 (latest)

Beatmaps named like that haven't been downloaded/extracted properly, this occurs if you change hard drives and the file get corrupted, or your download didn't go as planned. If you were missing any maps, that might be the map.

But when I delete one of them it deletes one of the working beatmaps.

Go into your osu! folder >> Songs and then locate the map called ''//'' and rename it to the map it's linked to.

If you have time, I'd re-extract the maps to see if that changes the result.
