[duplicate] Osu! wont save my rank on beatmaps

I keep getting an S on a beatmap, but it won't save it so I'm stuck with an A. Anyone know how to fix this?

Bancho is having trouble submitting scores right now. Nothing you can do except be patient and don't close the client. Osu! will attempt to submit that play for up to 1 hour

i had this problem for about 2 days aswell. I would have s rank and be getting ss everytime after and it will not save. BUT IVE FINALLY FOUND A SOLUTION! the reason it wont save on top off the beatmap is because you must have the top score for that beatmap. I had my s rank a higher score than the ss rank and then I added a few difficulties and instantly I got it.

Thank you for the information, but that is irrelevant to the problem in this thread. It is also 3 months old and marked as a duplicate. Please avoid bumping these in the future.
