Problem Details:
My updater will check for updates, then it will start installing, after that it will say "an error has occurred, please check your internet connection." then it will restart.

osu! version: 20170731.2 (latest)

As first, try solutions from this thread.

If that doesn't work for you, download the newest version of .NET framework from following website.

You can also try to:

Restart your router or modem
Flush DNS
Release/renew your IP

If still nothing works, you can try installing osu! from old installer.
