[Archived] Compatibility problem

Hello

I have problem with my osu client, i turned on compatibility mode in osu, but it dont want to start now. Before i turned it on i manually changed compatibiltiy mode to windows 7 and runned it as administrator. Im using windows 10
edit i changed compatibility context to 0 in osu.cfg and still doesnt work

Hold shift while starting osu! until an osu! configuration window pops up. Uncheck the compatibility mode box and start osu!.

Still doesnt want to open. I cant run even osu!repair after i turned on compatibility mode

  1. Run notepad as an administrator
  2. File > Open, osu!.pcname.config
  3. Change CompatibilityContext to 0
  4. Save the file (important step)

Does the game crash, blackscreen or display an error prompt?

Where is osu installed, are you even changing the correct config? Double click the osu!.exe in your game directory and hold shift for the entirety that it opens until a prompt pops up.
