For supporters, i think it would be cool if i could save a collection on cloud, and so if i re-install osu! i just download my collection and dont waste much time searching maps (and don't forget my favorite maps), and also would be cool share my collections with my friends and they will download it too.

it also can be good for tournaments, the mannager of it can just create the beatmap collection and share it for the participants.
PS: I imagine you don't upload the beatmaps on your collections, just a list with the beatmaps, and OSU!Direct auto download they one by one.
