What are the benefits of getting #1 in a specific beatmap difficulty, besides the obvious popularity? Do you get any more PP than usual... do you get experience for playing the beatmap several times leading up to that rank? I know that the profile will show your top ranks, but are there any other benefits besides bragging?
Thanks to anyone who can answer, and sorry if this is sort of an easy question. I have been playing Osu on an off for 3 years and I'm still pretty much a noob when it comes to a lot of this.
