[Archived] osu! not starting up

Problem Details: Recently I updated my mac (yes, I know) to macOS Sierra version 10.12.5. Previously, I was on mac OS X 10.9.5. As shown in the image, whenever I start my osu up, the application bounces like any other normal application on a mac. But that's all it does. When opening it up from the Finder menu, it says "osu! 2 can not be opened.

osu! version: 20141010 (yep, the version back when it wasn't on a seperate website. yeah, i know.)

Can you delete that and re download them?

Reinstall is always last step if you can't do anything else.

Attempting to reinstall 20141010 version resulted in an error message when the application opened. (http://imgur.com/a/8zDFI)

Installing osu OS X version 20151017 worked, however. Just all my beatmaps and stuff are gone.

Hey. If you dont want to lose beatmap, copy all of your beatmaps in ypur osu folder
Then re install . Finally, paste it all your song folder :shock:
