[Archived] "Ranked (Played)" works on website, but not in-game?

While searching for a Ranked maps that I played, If I leave the search field in osu!direct empty, it shows some results:

But if I try typing in anything, it always shows zero results, no matter what I try. Some examples:

It works fine on website, without any problems:

Any ideas why?


I am using latest version of stable release (osu! version: 20170222.3 (latest))

Do you already have the maps downloaded? If so, they won't show unless you tick the "Show already downloaded maps"

I think that it doesn't matter, because even if I had, it would only hide them, while still showing the number of results, like here:

As you can see in screenshots in previous post, it shows "0 matches found".
However, to answer your question, I don't have most of these maps. I literally searched for keyword, noticed a bunch of maps that I did played (100% sure), then changed from Ranking to Ranked(Played) and everything disappears.

I literally tried to enter keywords for random things that I don't have, but played in past (there are endless maps like this for player with +600 hours played like me) and which were being shown in normal searching. After changing to "Ranked (Played)", I never got anything else than "0 matches found". Not even once. Tried even searching for mappers that I played many maps from, while not having them now, the same result.
Tried checking and un-checking "Show already downloaded maps" many times, it didn't affected it for me. Still always zero results.

Does this option work for you? I would be really glad to find out, if it works for someone (anyone) and if there are other people, for which it doesn't work.

I tried restarting osu!, changing stream release to CE and Beta, back to Stable, but it never works.

Edit: I changed "screenshots above" to "screenshots in previous post", as I phrased it badly, which can lead to misunderstanding :)

Hmm, It appears you can't search with the filter. Don't know if this ever worked, I couldn't find any other threads with the same issue.

So, if it doesn't work and didn't really worked in the first place, then I suppose that it won't change any soon, as osu!lazer is coming and there's no point in spending resources on low priority stuff like this?

Still, I think it's definitely worth remembering this, so it can be implemented in lazer. Even, if we can use website's search filters, we can't filter out the maps that we already have in our game's songs library, which is one of the main advantages of osu!direct.
Deep inside my heart I hope, that we will have even more advanced filters and sorting options in lazer, both for in-game searching and osu!direct downloading <3

I think osu!direct has always been broken that way, hopefully lazer willl fix it.
