I really have one suggestion for this diff. I might be wrong, since my cold is affecting my hearing currently, but for the bigger notes: if you don't hit them at a certain timing it sounds pretty off from the music. If you made the finishes into normal notes, newer players will be able to understand the rhythm better.
01:03:801 (2,3,4) - Notes like these, to be specific
Apart from that...
test play
I was too lazy to SS ok
The smaller notes help emphasize the music without requiring too much hit accuracy.
[Futsuu]
I can't find anything wrong here~

[Muzukashii]
01:25:416 (276) - Suggest removing just so it sounds a lot nicer at the end.
Everything else is fine for me

The Oni streams are over my level of playing so I can't mod the diff.

Short mod is short. orz

I really like this mapset. Good luck getting it ranked!

I really want to keep the big notes in Kantan, as it's a really strong part, which would feel weird with small ones ;w;
About the Muzukashii, I feel a long pattern would fit better with to emphasize better the whole music here.

Thanks for checking and the star though > <

  1. 00:23:925 (23) - I think this needs to go here 00:24:111 - Because it doesn't follow the vocals or the drums.
  2. 01:03:801 (2,3,4) - These here 01:03:615 (2,3,4) - Same as before, it's a little confusing if you don't follow the drums or vocals.
  3. 01:09:764 (10,11,12) - These here 01:09:577 (10,11,12) - Same as the 3 previous beats.

Here is my mod, I'm still a newbie in modding so feel free to not accept any suggestion I gave you!
Thanks for trying my queue.

PS: I saw you are a BAT, can you quickly check my Pending Taiko Set please? Even if it's just a look it's fine :)
It's in pending for almost 2 years and I really want to make taiko sets because there aren't so many taiko maps around. :|

Anyways I want to see this beatmap ranked so Good Luck 8-)

[Kantan]

- 00:07:900 (7,9) - they have the same sound as 00:01:937 (1,2,3,4) - . To be more consistent, maybe add finish to 00:07:900 (7,9) - ; or delete finish to 00:01:937 (1,2,3,4) - ?

- 00:12:372 (10) - 01:25:788 (33) - personnal opinion : tbh I'm not a fan of drum roll/slider in kantan diff. Because for me, it's like a "stream".

- 00:22:807 (22) - since you emphasiz'd the strong note with a big don here, maybe do the same here 00:25:788 (24) - ? I don't really know how to explain this, but you emphasized the beginning of the irregular drum/melody, so I think it'll be better to also emphasize the end of the irregular drum/melody.

- 00:36:223 (37) - move this one here 00:36:596 - . atm I feel like it's offbeat.

- 00:37:714 (38) - kinda same as ^, but move it here 00:37:528 - . I think you put it on white tick to not make it too hard, or unnatural, but for this one, the sound at 00:37:528 - is really strong.

- 00:49:639 (52) - exactly the same as ^ ; move it here 00:49:453 - .

- 00:55:416 - kinda same as here ^, this strong beat feel empty. I think it'd be better to delete both 00:55:229 (57,58) - and add something here 00:55:416 - .

- 01:23:925 (30,31,32) - there's no strong beat on the white tick. I'd suggest to move it 1/2 ealier. Because the strong beat are here 01:23:739 - 01:24:484 - 01:25:229 - .
01:27:652 (35,36,37) - same as ^ ; move it 1/2 earlier.

- The last strong beat is here 01:28:211 - . So end the kiai time here, it'll also make it consistent with the other diff.

[Futsuu]

- 00:07:900 (8,15) - same as said in Kantan.

- 00:25:788 (43) - same as said in Kantan, add a finish ?

- 01:25:788 (60) - the fact it's a drum roll make it kinda hard for Futsuu. I mean, there's a don 1/2 earlier which make the drum roll (stream for me) kinda hard.

[Muzukashii]

- 00:22:807 (67,68,69,70) - how about change it as K D D K ? it goes really well with the melody.

- 00:58:024 (173,174,175,176,177,178,179,180,181,182,183,184) - if you want to make it a lil easier, how about change it as kkD kkD kkD kkD http://puu.sh/bGFjU/20c9088715.jpg

[Oni]

- 00:10:323 (25) - idk why, but I think if you change this one as kat it sound better with the previous note.

- 00:38:087 (171) - change it as k ? it sound pretty good with the next note.

- 00:48:894 (216) - You used a finish on the 3 previous notes which have kinda the same sound as this one, so change it as K ?

- 00:58:024 (249,250,251,252,253,254,255,256,257,258,259,260,261,262,263,264) - honestly I think something like feel much better to play : http://puu.sh/bGFLb/78ebb04114.jpg

- 01:02:310 (272) - change it as K for the strong beat ?

Thanks a lot for modding qoot, had to check my Kantan countless times in that part, did a few modifications more before the kiai, but nothing else.
Also added a small kiai time in the beginning as it looked a bit sad.

  1. 00:34:919 (157,158,159,160,161) - This play here was a bit awkward and didn't really flow well in regards to the previous pattern. I suggest changing it to dkd ddk. Fit and played much better IMO. Another good alternative would be ddk ddk
[Muzu]
  1. 01:15:913 (240,241,242) - I know you are going for a bit of variety here but I think it would be a better idea to stick with what you had at 01:09:950 (215,216,217) - . Sounds nicer to the music and plays better.
[Futsuu]
  1. 00:49:453 (90) - big d would be nice here, like you did in the muzu and oni
[Kantan]
  1. 00:36:223 (38) - Perhaps it would be better to have it at 00:36:037 - to keep consistency with the rest of your other patterns and rhythms. Also follows the music more closely imo
  2. 01:25:416 (32,1) - tbh this is a bit too close to eachother. When I was a newer player I had struggles figuring out what the sliders were even for, and with a big D at the end I think this will be a hard pattern to have in a Kantan

Fit and played much better IMO. Another good alternative would be ddk ddk /*This works better as kkd to fit better the higher sound in the red ticks.
[Muzu]
  1. 01:15:913 (240,241,242) - I know you are going for a bit of variety here but I think it would be a better idea to stick with what you had at 01:09:950 (215,216,217) - . Sounds nicer to the music and plays better. /*I find this better than ddK, as it has the same intensity as the previous big dons, look at 01:03:987 (192,193,194) - .
[Futsuu]
  1. 00:49:453 (90) - big d would be nice here, like you did in the muzu and oni /*Done.
[Kantan]
  1. 00:36:223 (38) - Perhaps it would be better to have it at 00:36:037 - to keep consistency with the rest of your other patterns and rhythms. Also follows the music more closely imo /*I remember this being called out for more people and I noticed this is true, changed
  2. 01:25:416 (32,1) - tbh this is a bit too close to eachother. When I was a newer player I had struggles figuring out what the sliders were even for, and with a big D at the end I think this will be a hard pattern to have in a Kantan /*Alright, changed for some notes.
Call me back
Thanks for the mod Lust :D

Also increased HP in Kantan to 4 since 3 isn't that challenging, even for newbies.

We changed the bg to 1366x768 (was 1365x768), resnapped all notes, and made some changes to the metadata.

Qualified!

There is no TaikoBAT or any mode-specific BATs anymore.

To answer your question in a way that satisfies the new system, I can mod any game mode but I will not mod anything outside of my playing abilties. DakeDekaane's map here was well within my boundries in terms of what I can play.

As others have stated before, there are no more mode-specific BATs, rather there are people who are more experienced in some areas of the game than others. You can mod any game mode if you so chose, but remember that if you are lacking in experience you always run a higher risk of disqualification.
