[Madness Precipitation SQUARED]
Madness Precipitation^2: 140BPM ziggzagging at AR10. Oh boi you like hards maps, Saten. Maybe you are the reason why my arm started hurting. ;w;7
I'm not sure how much of this is intended for the sake of difficulty, but there's some things in here that are pretty awkward to play. It's hard to feel while playing it since the map is so fast and hard that you mostly just concentrate on passing it - at least, that would be my case - but when looking at it in the editor, I notice some things that I think break the flow a bit.
In general, I would like to see more sliders aimed towards the start of the "alternating" parts.
00:13:208 (1,2,3,4) - As I mentioned just above, this is an example where I feel like the slider should assist more with the flow of the "alternate" pattern. Going suddenly down to 1 is expected, but then going up after that into a circular pattern feels a bit weird.
00:14:923 (1,2,3,4) - All of these sliders that end on 1/6 feels weird to play. You could keep them since I have no idea what would be a better replacement for them except regular 1/2 sliders. Just a heads up, woop.
00:16:208 (3,4,5,6) - I never actually noticed until I looked at it in the editor. I can see why this ziggzagg is formed like it is, but I don't necessarily agree with it. I think most people would end up edging the 6th note since it's so far down. I would probably try and keep to a consistent ziggzagg pattern. They are already so hard to play if you can't singletap reliably that fast.
00:17:279 (4) - I think you could aim this one more towards number 1. Since you like symmetry so much, you'd have to change the mirror slider of this one as well. Suggestions~
00:20:065 (1,2,3,4,5) - Very weird, but pretty fun to play when you hit it. Just not very pretty at all.
00:20:923 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^
00:26:065 (1,2,3) - Just want to say that I love these sliders and how they emphasize the lyrics so incredibly well, woop.
00:51:137 (6,1,2,3,4,5) - I would like to see the slider assist with the ziggzagg pattern if possible.
01:04:315 (2,3,4,1) - Pretty much the same as the first link I have up there.
01:18:887 (2,3,4,1) - This ziggzagg here is pretty evil. Considering the lifedrain and the part just right after, you pretty much want to FC these, but it's not easy. BUT, I've already talked a bit with you about the upcoming part, so this might not be so necessary to change after all.
01:20:923 - This part. As I've already told you, these are probably the hardest sliders jumps in the entire beatmap, and they are the first real ones you encounter. What makes this part stand out more than the other ones in terms of difficulty is probably not because of the fact that the slider jumps are enormous, it's probably more because of the short "alternating" part in between them.
01:23:923 (1,2,3,4,1) - If you're not prepared for them, you'll probably not react in time for them either, even if you're a decent AR10 reader. You'll keep just going forth and back, and before you have the time to notice that there's suddenly a new pattern, you've already missed them, haha. And even when you are prepared for them, they are not easy to hit since they ziggzagg as well.
01:27:780 - It does, however, have a very nice and easy part just after that lets you breath and recover your health though, but still keeps you on edge with a few short, but still, hard "alternating" parts. I like it a lot.
02:00:673 (4,5,6,7,1) - Same thing as the other weird ones I linked up there.
02:05:601 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - This pattern is
insane. Whenever I play this, it's like going into super yolo mode. I fling the cursor forth and back and hope for the best. Not sure if I'm allowed to say it's too hard, but I definitely think it is. It doesn't really help that there's a couple more hard parts just right after. Even if you barely survive this ziggzagg, you'll probably just die right after if you're not careful.
02:10:101 (4) - Just want to mention this 4 here. When I play, as you've seen for yourself, I want to drag my cursor in a straight line here. That 4 there does not agree to that thinking and therefore is a pretty big troll for that very reason.
02:29:173 (2,3,4,1) - Again, same as the other weird ones up there. I like this one though because it ends the kiai. But ye, you can just ignore these "weird" patterns I mention if you want.
02:34:208 (1,2,3,4,1) - These ones, just like the last ones I mentioned, are pretty hard to spot in time. I don't know how much you should listen to me when it comes to reading though. I probably just suck at AR10. But just like the other "alternating" part between these slider jumps, they are pretty hard to catch in time if you're not prepared for them. The difference for these ones though, is that they are
a lot easier to hit since they're just a nice circle pattern. I don't really encourage you to change them, just another heads-up. :>
04:01:851 (3,4,1) - I think 3 here starts in a very awkward place.
Overall I like the last kiai time a lot. It provides a nice challenge, but it isn't impossible in any way even though slider velocity and spacing is increased. The patterns are very fair and should stay as they are, woop!
