How do I raise my recommended difficulty

I usually play 4 stars maps but when I went to the osu website and clicked on the beatmaps listing there was an option that says recommended difficulty and it recommends me 2 stars maps, does anyone know how to raise it?

Start placing good scores on 4star maps. osu! recommends you 2star maps because thats the difficulty which your results are currently the most consistent. To get the number to 4stars you'll need S-ranks, not B-ranks.

Recommended difficulty is based on your total pp, so if you want to raise it, simply get more pp

Thanks, I started playing more for the fc and higher acc on 4 stars and it worked, I also got 4 or 5 4* fcs
