hello this is my first time making a beatmap, i need to make sure my timing is correct before i add more notes and need some guidance.

10th Sep 1st update: got the timing correct and added alot of notes

got timing (thank you for Blue Dragon) correct and added more notes





12th Sep 2nd update: added more stuff and fixed some notes hm where can i get more help ?? people are so hard to find


13th Sep 3rd update: i just learnt custom sound effect , added some custom sound

27th Sep 4th update: finished normal difficulty

(thank you Taro Sardo) i changed to hard difficult i feel its too hard for normal and i planning to add 1 easy

The beat placement was bit messy, but overall is very good.
some timing might be out of place, right after 2:40 mins
Could delete the first note, after 2:40mins.

I don't have enough experience to judge the rest but these are the small things i notice, hope this could help.

PS, Kiai Time was left on at the break at 1:25.

general

audio lead-in: change to 0 (in both difficulty), no need to add lead-in, you started to map it at 00:05:274
why 7 combo colors? use only 4 (sugestion)
use a background image for your beatmap (its a rule), and it must be 4:3 dimensions, recomended 1024x768
set a preview point to your beatmap, and it must be the same in all difficulty (rule).
i see no reason to use stack leniency 2, you should move it to 7 again if you dont know what it is.
the osb file in your folder is unused, remove it and full submit
there is no custom hitsounds in the download, but you are using inherited point as custom S:c1, if you have any custom hitsound to add make a full submit, if you dont, change to S sample

too many distance snap swifting in this diff, remember its the difficulty for begginers
if you dont plan to make an easy difficulty at least make the spacing more consistent
change DS only when you think it really fits but keep it as so simple as possible.

dont waste your time trying to make new slider shapes, at least until you get some experience in mapping
straight sliders, "S" sliders, "C" sliders are allways wellcome, and three or four slider points is enough to make them (don't overuse slider points)

nothing really wrong in this diff

but you still have some weird sliders here and there, the hitsounding is alot inconsistent to normal, and i see some obvious copy paste of notes from normal...

you made a good job in this beatmap considering your experience

the rhythm is not bad but you can allways improve it, same about note placing and hitsounding

keep looking at ranked beatmaps to improve your mapping skill and you will be fine

As said by pimpG: add a background, remove audio lead-in, set a preview time.
To set a preview time, choose a point in the map and go to "Timing -> Set Current Position as Preview Point". Do this in all diffs.

Combo colour: I suggest to put the colours of the rainbow as combo colour. Below you can find the correct RGB for all colour:
Combo1 	Purple	128,0,255
Combo2 Indigo 64,0,255
Combo3 Blue 0,0,255
Combo4 Green 0,255,0
Combo5 Yellow 255,255,0
Combo6 Orange 255,128,0
Combo7 Red 255,0,0

Before you submit, make sure that Artist and Title field under "Song Setup" are filled, because due to the new version of the .osu files, Artist and Title are wiped out.
