Question - since you can now revive while playing in multiplayer, what are the rules regarding fails? Some clarification would be nice.
I believe its each person gets to pick their own song to play. Each song is played twice. Or we each get to pick 2 songs each, each song played once. In case its 2-2 there is a dedicated song (we don't know of?) that is selected by the ref for us to battle it out to the death with.winber1 wrote:

You get to pick two maps each. If it ends up being 2-2, then you will go into a tiebreaker.

Say, one of the players has played the map before and has 90% dim, no SB and no skin, but the other player has not played it and therefore will be playing without these settings.
Doesn't seem quite fair to me, but I dunno. Is there any way this will be handled or will it just be left alone?

It'd be nice to leave everything at default but I dunno if there's a way to track at all. I'd say it's more the responsibility of the player to at least practice each possible map beforehand.
Hmm, that seems to almost defeat the point of a tournament to me, so I kind of disagree with that responsibility. Well, I personally put more weight on a player's ability to sightread over their ability to play a map many times and get good at it. In any case, I guess I'll have to play through everything to turn off skins and such anyways.Garven wrote:

Although I agree with the sentiment, if you're presented the list of maps to play, that line of reasoning is kinda moot, haha. If you want, we can agree to not practice those maps until the rounds and have the judge choose maps for us for kicks.
Nah, that doesn't sound quite right. I think being able to practice is okay, although it's not something I'm personally up to doing, but I wouldn't stop anyone else from doing it if they felt like it. It's only the funspoiler settings that really throw me off, but I guess I'll just have to go through and play each map at least once for that.Garven wrote:

Nikki has allegedly dropped out.
sCam has to leave due to some real life issues.
