Should I publish a map when I finish my first difficulty, or when I've already got more difficulties? This is my first experience mapping, I've made a 4 and a half minute normal map and not sure what to do. I plan on making hard and maybe insane soon

Does it have any effect? Like, if the map doesn't get as popular as it would've been if it had more difficulties at first

nah there are so many new uploads all the time that no one looks at them, popularity comes from other places

Popularity will come when the map will be ready for it. There is also more visibility once it reach rank.

To answer original question, submit when you want to show your map (regardless of it's completion), ask for feedback or want to save it online (so you can easly swap computers, or act as backup in case you need)
