[Archived] How do I hide the leaderboard during MP?

It's pretty much just on the right hand side all the time, and it's so distracting. I find my self looking at it all the time to see what spot I'm in, and I'd rather just hide it AND the place number in the bottom left for good.
I can't seem to find an option anywhere for this

You can hide rankings in both single player and multiplayer by hitting tab (this key binding can also be changed in the options menu).

The number that shows your position at the bottom right can't be hidden.
