- matches will be played with 4 players in a 1v1v1v1 style match
- this season tournament matches will be played as matches with a countdown timer in which players will try to get the most points within the set amount of time e.g. 30 minutes for group stage matches
- conditional depending on numbers in tournament this might be extended to the 2 players who have scored the most pts in the time limit
- finals stage matches will progress as 4 player matches as well as group stage matches
- finals & grand finals matches will be played similarly to the previous installment of this tournament, the first person to score max pts (finals) and the first 3 players to score max pts (grand finals)
- winner = 1st player to score max pts
- runner up = 2nd player to score max pts
- solid effort = 3rd player to score max pts
- seeding will be done by performance points e.g.
Seed rank 1 - johnno: 12000pp
Seed rank 2 - bazza: 10200pp
Seed rank 3 - jacko: 8800pp
Seed rank 4 - wazza: 6000pp
- seeded rank has no influence and is not a determinant of bracket placement for matches
- placement for matches will be done via randomization
- Group stage mappools will consist of 4 nomod maps, 2 hidden maps, 2 double time maps, 2 hard rock maps, 1 easy map, 1 Flashlight map, 1 dtb map and the tiebreaker
- tiebreaker will only be played if 2-4 players are on the same amount of pts (depending on whether 1 or 2 players are to pass from group)
- if 3 out of 4 players are on the same amount of pts then only the 3 players on the same amount of pts will play the tiebreaker
- tiebreaker will cancel out the timer
- 1 warmup will be allowed provided all players agree on said warmup or down to the referee's discretion, players may opt not to play warmup
- no bans will be allowed during the first 2 stages of this tournament
- reschedules will be allowed provided the other 3 players all agree to it
- reschedules must be done on the friday before match at the latest or it will not be allowed
-if a player from a group hasnt been online for 7+ days only 2 players from a group will need to agree to a reschedule for a reschedule to take place rather than the whole group
