The song audio I'm using for a beatmap is pretty quiet compared to any beatmap I've heard. Made me curious to know where others pull their music from.

Like convert to mp3 on a website? If so, what website do you use? 
Aside from what lewski commented above I've found this site useful at times: https://myzcloud.me/
suspicious Russian sites are honestly the best Google search results when looking for mp3s cause navigating them is funny and then it's 50/50 whether you get a good mp3 or one that's like 64kbps

If you're having problems with the volume you can fix that with an audio editing program like audacity (which is free)
