How do you improve at reading (other than the obvious practice as I already do this every day and lowering of scroll speed). Most people that I can beat by anywhere from 25k to 100k points on most non-note-heavy maps, yet they will easily beat me by 50k+ (or I will just fail) when it comes to maps such as-

https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/478161#mania/1023071 (most diffs)
https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/200552#mania/484669 (DECADE vs. Usagi's INFINITE Lv.16)
And basically anything with DT.
Take what you will from my plays, thanks for reading.
Also my setup has no problems.

all this is saying to me is that you are either good at accuracy since you play only charts that are comfortable to you or that people are beating you at a skillset you are not good at

if its the first option all you have to start doing is playing outside of your comfort range
if the second then identify the skillset and start playing that to improve it

I recommend playing stepmania converts if you want to improve in reading denser charts.

For example, HIELO - La Posesion Du Mimi from this pack is an excellent map to test your skill set. In order to play it properly you have to be good at chords, jacks, jumpstreams, handstreams, jumptrills, double trills, rolls and be able to mix those patterns together. Try it to identify your skill set.

You just need to keep playing them. Upon looking at your top scores, you've got decent accuracy on comparably difficult charts, they shouldn't be outside of your reach.

When playing these charts, identify what types of patterns are giving you the most trouble and focus your playing around practicing maps with similar patterns for a while.

Halftime also helps a bit with getting a grasp on difficult patterns at higher speeds (or in the case of DT, nomod).

Keep at them, you'll get there

EDIT: you also seem to be placing scores mostly on chords / jacks, maybe you need to work on streams a bit?

Thanks guys, it is streams that I am bad at (I don't really know mania language), thanks for the map suggestions.
