Ever wanted to meet your osu! friends? Or maybe even hang out with your favorite top players? We feel the same way. That's why we are organizing COE (cavoe's osu! event). An event where everyone can meet, play with, and talk to other osu! players.
Not many people know this, but COE was started all the way back in 2017 by cavoeboy. Back then simply called osu! event, it was a very small scale meetup of around 35 people. Only lasting 3 days, this was more of a dutch national meetup with a few visitors from other countries. This happened in De Hangar, Eindhoven, a small café with 2 big rooms for general use.
The next year rolled around, this time aiming way bigger at around 200-300 attendees. This is also where the event renamed to cavoe's osu! event and lasted 10 days - we had space for a lot more people. Nonetheless, the numbers exceeded our expectations and we filled De Hangar to the very brim with more than 300 attendees. With players like Cookiezi, BeasttrollMC and WubWoofWolf flying in, we had people attend from all around the world. This is the edition that most people know of.
And now there's 2019. With the amount of hype 2018 generated, there's no doubt about the fact that we won't be able to fit in De Hangar anymore. So we rented out the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch. They are one of the biggest event venues in the Netherlands, featuring 11 halls. We will have Hall 2 for the event and the Hertogzaal for sleeping. This edition will last from July 29th to August 4th, a total of 7 days.
Having sold over 100 tickets in the first 3 days of ticket sales being open, we know everyone is excited for this one. Without doubt, this is the biggest community-made osu! exclusive convention in the entire world.
Activities
- BYOC LAN Area: Taking up 1/3 of the hall, this is where everyone with a BYOC ticket will sit and play.
- Expo: Right in the middle of the hall are all the stands of partners and sponsors, this includes event merch.
- Virtual Reality: 3 full VR setups ready to go, play to your heart's content! Located against the left wall of the hall.
- Chill corner: Relax on some bean bags, play board games, watch some anime or hook up your console to the TV. Located in the far left corner of the hall.
Info & Sanitary
- Toilets: Located all the way at the back of the hall.
- Showers: 8 showers provided for everyone with a sleep ticket. Located inbetween the VR area and the Chill corner.
- Help desk / Storage: In the middle of the hall next to the Expo you'll find the Help desk. This is where we'll be able to answer all your questions, and store any valuables for you when you go to bed.
- Sleep hall: When you're done gaming for the day you can enjoy the spacious sleep hall with over 200 sleep spots. The concept is simple: come in, put your stuff down in one of the taped off spots and go to sleep. When you wake up, take your stuff so the spot becomes available for someone else. This way we have a higher capacity and less of a mess.
Tourneys & Streams
- VIP Twitch streams: Watch your favorite streamers live in person! Located in the middle of the hall next to the Expo.
- Main stage: The main stage is where all the tournaments, podcasts, player showcases, musical performances, karaoke and much more will take place. You don't want to miss the events we have planned! Stage schedule will be released 1 week before the event.

- Kiosk: A small bar offering a variety of food and drinks.
Continuing the trend of the previous years, we have 2 main types of tickets.
- Event Ticket
This ticket will grant you access to the event hall and all activities. Grants you a spot in the Attendee list and the 2019EVENT role in the event Discord. - BYOC Ticket

You can add Sleep onto any ticket. It is €5/night and will be calculated automatically. You will get access to the sleeping hall and showers. - Air mattress
Air mattresses can be rented against €5. This can only be done at the event itself, we only have a limited supply so we encourage you to bring your own. - Parking
Parking can be bought on-site. The prices are as follows:
Single day: €8
Midweek (mon-fri): €15

- BYOC Ticket
Like last year, this year will feature a VIP status. This status is reserved for the best of the best players. People with a big community impact (streamers, mappers, youtubers) are also eligible to get this status. VIPs will have exclusive access to the VIP Area. VIP can also be earned through the referral system.
Den Bosch is located centrally within the Netherlands, having train connections to all directions. I'll outline a couple ways of travel here and give some tips.
- Plane
When flying in, the most convenient airports are Amsterdam Schiphol Airport when flying internationally and Eindhoven Airport when flying within Europe. Düsseldorf, Antwerp and Brussels are also good options if they turn out to be a lot cheaper, just keep in mind that you'll have to travel a while by train. While Schiphol Airport has the train station directly in the airport, at Eindhoven Airport you will have to take a direct bus (line 401) from the airport to the train station. From both of these stations, there is a direct train to 's-Hertogenbosch Central Station. At Schiphol shown as "Intercity Venlo" and at Eindhoven shown as "Intercity Schiphol Airport". Check the rail section below to learn some more about the trains and buses. - Public Transport
The train and bus system in the Netherlands is well maintained and fairly easy to understand. Mainly because all signs will also have an English translation on them. There are 2 ways of paying for the public transport: by OV-chipcard or buy online beforehand. Buying online beforehand is usually the best option, since prices do not change. If you are planning to ride on buses however, buying the OV-chipcard (€7.50) might be a better option. You can't buy bus tickets online, only in the bus itself (€4.24 one way). The OV-chipcard works by tapping a pole when entering the station, and tapping another pole when you leave at your destination. Brabanthallen 's-Hertogenbosch is approximately a 15 minute walk from the Central Station. In order to reach the Brabanthallen, you need to exit the station through the "Brabanthallen" exit and follow the signs with "Brabanthallen". Enter the Brabanthallen through Entrance B. - Car
When coming from the north on the E25/A2, take exit "RING-Noord" towards Waalwijk (A59). Then take exit 46 and turn left. From here the Brabanthallen is indicated on the traffic signs. Follow the road for about 1km and turn left at a big intersection. Then turn right at the next intersection. At this point you will see the big parking lot of the Brabanthallen, follow the road for around 300m and then turn right onto the parking lot.
When coming from the west on the A59, take exit 46 and turn right. From here the Brabanthallen is indicated on the traffic signs. Follow the road for about 1km and turn left at a big intersection. Then turn right at the next intersection. At this point you will see the big parking lot of the Brabanthallen, follow the road for around 300m and then turn right onto the parking lot.
When coming from the south on the E25/A2, take exit 23 "RING-West". Follow the road until you see a sign pointing right called "Deuteren", turn right here. Follow this next road, go straight on the roundabout, keep following until you see the Brabanthallen on your left side. Here the road will make a right bend, turn left in this bend. After around 500m you will see the big parking lot to your left.
When coming from the east on the A59, take exit "RING-Oost" towards Waalwijk (A59). Then take exit "RING-Noord" towards Waalwijk (A59). Then take exit 46 and turn left. From here the Brabanthallen is indicated on the traffic signs. Follow the road for about 1km and turn left at a big intersection. Then turn right at the next intersection. At this point you will see the big parking lot of the Brabanthallen, follow the road for around 300m and then turn right onto the parking lot.
