See, the ban didn't just extend to the banning of 99% alcohol. Whatever scum in the OT Royal Society interpreted "ban 99% alcohol" really screwed me over. 99% alcohol being 99/100 alcohol in some solution is not the full story.

"99% alcohol" is the name for the solution I developed to keep Trashipitus in check. Back when I started distributing 99% alcohol in the underground markets, it was a trail run of the solution. I distributed 99% alcohol to some folks and actual 99% alcohol to others as the control in the experiment. It was successful ofc, and the name stuck since it was widely recognized soon after.

Fast-forward to now, and the orders to destroy any information pertaining to how to make 99% alcohol got invoked. Naturally I searched for a solution. Renaming the formula to something else should have worked. It was even supposed to have been launched along with 𝓢𝓚𝓘𝓛𝓛 just like 99% alcohol was launched with osu!pill, but it got blocked. Apparently the formula is still technically 99% alcohol just under a different name. Go figure.

So the formula for active ingredient that keep Trashipitus under check were also meant to be destroyed. There could have been experiments involving denizens producing 99% alcohol naturally in themselves, but the ban happened before that could happen. Luckily I use 120% of my brain. There might be a small number of denizens who's brains were infused with 99% alcohol as a last minute solution to save the formula. Since denizen activities are under the jurisdiction of the OT Royal Society of Quality, and I am head of the OT Royal Society of Quality, I get the say in that matter.

Still, that doesn't stop the OT Royal Society from trying to get rid of that too. From impossible search and capture missions to attempting to incriminate denizens, it's been one wild goose chase. The most worrying and somewhat hilarious attempt was Ashton's mind control shit. Interestingly he now accuses the OT President Achromalia of such. Whatever comes next will be interesting indeed.

WHAT?

The chaos following the 99% alcohol ban, the ensuing industrial war and trashipitus epidemic was problematic indeed.

After Abraker first released his solution onto the black market and bazaar, I realised the innate potential of it.
Abraker intended to stop the then slowly surfacing plague of trashipitus, which of course, was a noble pursuit. He was indeed correct in that the original formula worked, I am living proof of that. What Abraker failed to see however, was how the other characteristics of 99% alcohol could be exploited if only changed a little.

Thus, we got samples. Put them into the Antarctic labs.Then we experimented with the formula. Altered it. Upgraded it. Made it...perfect.

We executed our plan slowly. The bazaar proved an excellent shell to cover up the vast amounts of 99% alcohol we took control over before the ban took effect. Then, as the supply dwindled, and demand rose through the roof, take advantage of the already addicted denizens. We launched the alternative, OTCider. Not as powerful as the real deal, but valuable as a test run.

The trashipitus epidemic was only the beginning. Although unstable, we had managed to alter the state of denizen minds. However, proceeding with step 2 would be risky unless we scaled up and protected ourselves even more. Tests were already being performed on affected denizens, and people like Aiseca, although he didn't capture the true nature of it, discovered a variation of the virus. We needed more resources.

Thus, we joined the Royal Society. The labs were beautiful, the equipment plentiful, and we could execute our plans in peace. With this new base of operations, we slowly went into hiding, spreading our poison discreetly. It worked. Denizens became more docile, and soon, elections were held, and subject Achromalia was chosen, much to our glee. OT was on the path to success, peace and prosperity. OT would soon become the ideal world to impose our authoritarian rule. Everything seemed to go according to plan.

Then, disaster struck. The formula was stolen amidst the penguin-duck skirmishes. Out of our hands, it was dangerous and unpredictable. Although the virus could be used to force denizens into posting quality material, repressing their shitposting and violent tendencies, it could also be used to do the exact opposite, throwing OT into total anarchy and chaos once more. Ashton was the first. He knew. He was affected.

Whomever took the virus formula, they're now in possession of one of the most powerful weapons in OT's history, and remains completely shrouded in darkness, their motivations just as obscured as their identity, and we're left wondering;

What's their next move?

Their next move is: Ah shit, Here we go again.
