Xam'd : Lost Memories. Obligatory.Justykanna wrote:
I am back, looking for more suggestions!
- Action with a side-love story to it.
- Gundam 00 or Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood are my favourites with Gundam SEED not far behind.
- English dub please.
- HD would be nice, but not necessary.
- Less blood than, let's say, Blood+ and Kenshin (Samurai X).
I finished Eureka Seven, Macross Frontier and am almost done Full Metal Panic.
Macross Frontier was probably my favourite of the three. Wasn't particularly fond of the other two - Eureka Seven felt very slow at times and Full Metal Panic felt more like a comedy-type thing more than anything.
Kanon and Air are both key works animated by KyoAni also. Little Busters! is airing this fall, but it's being animated by JC Staff (a much less reputable studio for this kind of work).Pesca wrote:
A Clannad one would be nice
Have you watched Ghost Hunt? If not try that out.NCassava wrote:

Yuruyuri or A-Channel will do since basically they're the same genre with Nichijou (slice-of-life)Kamixdesu wrote:

For gore, maybe you should try Shigurui: Death Frenzy. Hack and slash with lots of intestine scattered... Yeah this sounds good.nachorz wrote:
I need a recommendation on gore/(psycho)horror/vampire shows. I found a couple titles, but I'd rather listen to people than go through all of them myself at the moment.
Ehh I guess you could try out Shiki for the vampires bit. Really anime has never delivered on the horror aspect for me. There is something that anime can't convey that 3D movies and shows can. As for gore... that isn't my thingnachorz wrote:

It's hard to phrase this. I'm looking for an anime with a mature... feel about it. Something like Spice and Wolf or Nodame Cantabile (although romance isn't really necessary). I loved the experience of watching those.
I have always been put off by the Shakespeare adaptation premise... but I'll give it a try.Kamixdesu wrote:
