  1. This is an osu!standard, scorev2 tournament.
  2. This is a 1v1, free-for-all tournament.
  3. The rank ranges are 1,000 - 10,000 and 10,001 - 50,000, with BWS applied.
  4. There is no limit on people signing up.
  5. Players are required to join the discord.
  6. Players who are not in the rank range(s) are allowed to register. However, if they are not strictly within the rank range when signups are over, their registration will be removed.
  7. This tournament will only consist of qualifier style rounds. there are 7 rounds in total.
  8. Mappools will only have seven maps in total, mods will vary week after week.
  9. Rankings will be based on a rating system, which will be based on players’ ranks of each week. More info below.
  10. Schedules and mappool will be released every Monday of the week before those matches should be played.
  11. No staff members are allowed to play except streamers and commentators.

  1. Registrations: April 24 - May 20 1:00 UTC
  2. Week 1: May 24 - 26
  3. Week 2: May 31 - June 2
  4. Week 3: June 7 - 9
  5. Week 4: June 14 - 16
  6. Week 5: June 21 - 23
  7. Week 6: June 28 - 30
  8. Week 7: July 5 - 7

  1. The lobby will be made by the referee, and players are responsible to be online when the match starts.
  2. Players have strictly 10 minutes to join the lobby or else the lobby will start with everyone in the lobby. If players join the lobby late, they can play if two or fewer maps have been played, reschedule to a different lobby. This can only be done once per week.
  3. There are strictly no warmups or bans.
  4. Players play through all maps in that week’s mappool in order of them being listed. The referee will select the map for the players for the duration of the lobby.
  5. There will be 90 seconds between each map for players to ready up. If all players are not ready by that time, the referee can use a !mp start 10 command, and the map will be played no matter if the player(s) are ready.
  6. Once all maps have been played, players are allowed to leave the room. If there are any technical issues during the lobby, players must notify the referee and the referee will issue a replay for that player after all maps have been played.
  7. Failed scores do count.
  8. If the player does not show up in that week for any reason, their points toward the pot of that week will get voided.
  9. Players can reschedule to a weekday, but no later than Monday of the following week.

  1. Short for Badge Weighted Seeding, BWS is a tournament-minded seeding method intended to more accurately seeds players and enforces rank restrictions based on the player's tournament badges.
  2. In short, BWS artificially "ranks up" players based on the number of badges they have.
  3. In terms of how much a player ranks up per badge, each badge is worth more than the one before it.
  4. More specifically, the formula is as follows:

rank^(0.99^(badges*(badges+1)/2))

  1. The formula caps at rank 1.00. It takes 30 badges at rank 2 to get to rank 1 BWS.
  2. Remember, BWS is not intended to reflect solo play skill. Read the first bullet point again.
  3. Sample BWS rank values can be found on this spreadsheet.

  1. This system is going to be used to rank all players in the tournament.
  2. Everyone starts with a rating of 1000. Rating increases/decreases will be determined on your rank of that week.
  3. Starting at week 1, 10% of all players’ rating will be deducted, which will then be redistributed again based on the players’ performance of that week.
  4. Your elo gain/loss will be calculated by this formula:
  5. Note that if you do not play in a week, you lose all of your deducted points.
  6. Percentage deductions can be found on this image.
