[Gezo's Taiko Oni]
- Generally good. Just some suggestions.
- Chorus part has kiai effect and kiai effect can make that part special, but next time, try making more difference between chorus parts and non-chorus or inter-chorus parts. For example, in 00:07:690 (1,2,1,1,2,3,1,1,1,2), you could give some 'points' to 00:08:599 (30) and 00:09:054 (1) cause vocal is stressed out.
00:10:418 (1,2,1) - Currently 'k k d', but 'd d k' might be better cause pitch of vocal is going up. Not so necessary though, cause we express these kind of things reversed, too.
00:12:918 (1) - don? Cause 00:13:145 (2) needs to be 'bold' but this note is interfering it by being kat.
00:14:054 (3) - I prefer kat here. Vocal pitch thing, I guess. Adjust nearby notes if you think it is needed.
00:16:554 / 00:18:372 - Personally I prefer leaving 00:18:372 empty and filling here cause you did that in 4 measures ago.
00:19:281 (1,2,1,2,3,4,1) - 'kkd d kkd' might be better. I prefer kkd in this measure since pitch of vocal is going down
00:25:872 (1,2,1,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - Maybe you can repeat rhythm you used in 00:22:236 ~ 00:25:645 (2)?
00:27:690 (1,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,3) - Similar with above, but I also put slight change on rhythm in 4th measure usually, so whatever.
00:33:145 (1,2,1,1,2,3,4,1,1,2) - You used 'o o o oo oo' kind of rhythm in 2 measures ago, so might be better to apply that in here too?
00:58:599 (1), 00:59:281 (2), 01:00:190 (1), 01:01:099 (2), 01:02:008 (1) - I guess you can make these big notes if you want? Corresponding Vocal and backgroud music, I mean. Well if you want to spare those big notes you can leave this as normal, but making these big notes also makes this part stands out since it is the end of inter-chorus part.
01:08:600 (1,2,1) - Same with 00:10:418 (1,2,1).
01:11:100 (1) - Same with 00:12:918 (1).
01:12:236 (3) - Same with 00:14:054 (3).
01:14:736 / 01:16:554 - Same with 00:16:554 / 00:18:372
01:17:463 (1,2,1,2,3,4,1) - Same with 00:19:281 (1,2,1,2,3,4,1).
01:20:418 (1) - Shorten this by 1/2 can give a 'point' to emptiness of 01:21:327.
01:22:236 (1,2,3,1,2,1,2,3,1,2) - Hmm, I think it might be better to give some changes instead of mere 'd d k k d d k k' kind of pattern. (So currently it is d 'ddk k d ddk k', so how about 'd ddk d k ddk d' or something like that? whatever.)
01:32:690 (2) - I prefer kat here.
I said this is suggestions so applying these is up to you. Contact me if you have anything to ask.
