I had hit sounds, or at least that's what AiMod said, until I hit reset reset all samples. now I don't know how to get them back. can anyone help me here? Thanks!

If you've still got the map open at this point, press Ctrl+Z until you get your hitsounds back. If you saved and closed the map, restore a backup. If you don't have backups, tough. Place all your hitsounds again and start keeping backups so that you don't lose everything the next time something like this happens.
