[osu!std] UKT Spring 2 | 3v3 [REGS OPEN]

Welcome to UKT Spring 2!
UKT Spring 2 is an osu!standard 3v3, scorev2, double elimination tournament, where the rank of the 3 team members must add to at least 5000.

Prizes
1st Place: Profile badge (tbc), 2 months supporter | 2nd Place: 1 month supporter | 3rd Place: bragging rights



  1. This is an osu!standard 3v3 tournament
  2. Only players from the United Kingdom or Ireland may join this tournament, although players from other countries can join as staff
  3. There is no individual player rank limit, although the total rank of the team must add to at least 5k
  4. Once bracket stage commences, there is no rank limit for each team
  5. Teams may not have any substitute players. Only 3 persons per team
  6. All teams must meet the following criteria:
    1. Each player must have at least 100 hours and 8000 plays logged on their account
    2. Each player cannot have been banned/restricted within the last year
    3. Each player must pass a screening check from osu!staff
    4. Each player must have joined the discord server: https://discord.gg/CQRFbVh
  7. Tournament will consist of qualifier stage (to decide seeding) followed by a double elimination stage


    Schedule:
    1. Now - April 25th [Registration]
    2. May 3rd, 4th, 5th [Qualifying]
    3. May 10th [Brackets to begin]
    4. Brackets are projected to finish around June 8th


Match Procedures
Players are expected to adhere to the osu! Community Rules and In-Game Chat Rules at all times. There will be no exceptions, disqualification will occur should these rules be broken.
Match format is TeamVs, Scorev2
A player's score will be counted if they fail a beatmap and revive before the end.
Should a player finish a beatmap without reviving, their score will not be counted.
For qualifiers: If a player ends the beatmap with a failing score, their score for that map will be counted as zero
On freemods, 2 mods must be acive at minimum per team

Qualifier:
  1. There can be a maximum of 3 teams per lobby. The referee will create the lobby in the format UKT: Qualifiers (Lobby Name) and will send invites about 10 minutes before the scheduled time
  2. Teams will have 10 minutes after the time shown on schedules to show up to the lobby. If teams do not show, there score will be 0 for each map
  3. If part of a team shows, they will be allowed to play with part of their team
  4. Teams will play through 5 maps from top to bottom of the pool sheet
  5. Teams will only have a single attempt on each map in the pool
  6. The referee will submit the information from the lobby, and your scores will be recorded.

Round of 16:
  1. All matches are BO9
  2. A referee will create the match in the format: UKT: (Team 1) vs (Team 2) and send invites about 10 minutes before the game
  3. Both teams will be allowed to choose a warmup map before each match properly begins. These can be no longer than 4 minutes
  4. After warmups are done, both teams will !roll
  5. Lowest roll bans 1st, highest roll bans 2nd.
  6. Each team may only ban 1 map
  7. Highest roll picks first
  8. Teams will then alternate between picking maps
  9. The first team to reach 5 points will be declared the winner, and the loser will be knocked down into the losers bracket.
  10. Once a team loses in the losers bracket, they are eliminated from the tournament

Quarter Finals:
  1. All matches are BO9
  2. A referee will create the match in the format: UKT: (Team 1) vs (Team 2) and send invites about 10 minutes before the game
  3. Both teams will be allowed to choose a warmup map before each match properly begins. These can be no longer than 4 minutes
  4. After warmups are done, both teams will !roll

  7. Highest roll picks first
  8. Teams will then alternate between picking maps
  9. The first team to reach 6 points will be declared the winner,and will move onto the next round. The loser will be knocked down into the losers bracket.
  10. Once a team loses in the losers bracket, they are eliminated from the tournament

Finals:
  1. All matches are BO13
  2. A referee will create the match in the format: UKT: (Team 1) vs (Team 2) and send invites about 10 minutes before the game
  3. Both teams will be allowed to choose a warmup map before each match properly begins. These can be no longer than 5 minutes
  4. After warmups are done, both teams will !roll
  5. Lowest roll bans 1st, highest roll bans 2nd.
  6. Each team may ban 2 maps
  7. Highest roll picks first
  8. Teams will then alternate between picking maps
  9. The first team to reach 7 points will be declared the winner,and will move onto the next round. The loser will be knocked down into the losers bracket.
  10. Once a team loses in the losers bracket, they are eliminated from the tournament




Regarding Disconnections
In Qualifiers
  1. Should a player disconnect in a qualifying match, they will have to participate in the map again in the replay rounds in order to avoid a score of 0 on the map they disconnected on. They will be allowed 10 minutes to reconnect before the lobby continues normal proceedings without them.
In Group Stage onward
  1. Should a player lose connection before 30 seconds of a map has been played, they may reconnect within 10 minutes and replay the map. This will only be allowed once per lobby. Any disconnections after the first will be a map loss, no matter what time it occurs.
  2. Should a player lose connection after 30 seconds of a map, that map is counted a loss. This applies for tiebreakers as well. I understand that it's unfortunate for real disconnection issues, but it is necessary in order to avoid foul play.
  3. If a player fails to reconnect within 10 minutes, they will lose the map. They then have 5 more minutes to connect or they will lose the round as a whole.

  3. Your team fits the rank requirements until the end of qualifier stage
