So... I'm trying to make it so objects in the osu editor stack directly on top of each other. The problem is, even if i disable stacking, it just doesn't work. (I'm trying to map a tech map if you were wondering) What do I do?

First of all, you need to enable stacking, not disable it. This can be done in the editor if you go to "View" and then tick "Stacking".
The second thing you need to do is check the stack leniency setting. This can be found under "song setup" -> "Advanced". Using a higher stack leniency means that objects which are further apart time-wise are more likely to stack
