A straw is essentially a very stretched out donut. Does a donut have one or two holes?

hmm. i think that's fair.

maybe what we're mixing up is "orifice" with "hole".

A straw may have two orifices but one hole.

A tunnel may have two ends but is essentially a giant underground hole.

ALRIGHT MISTER/MISSUS, LISTEN HERE.

IF YOU WANNA BE TECHNICAL ABOUT IT THEN--

yeah, you'd be right. as far as technicality goes.

i mean, anything's built up with tons of holes inside thanks to the size of the space between atoms and all that. an easy example is like the knitted fabric of a cloth, though seemingly one solid plane, it's really a framework of a given material or materials woven together.

it works kinda like that, i'd think.

Dear President, calm your tits down...
I am not talking about the atomical level of straw.
I m referring to the straw plant.

you can't cut the long straw in many pieces

so it has potentially infinite holes
