Problem Details: After I updated client, it started to take a lot of time when I try to log in (it normally took 5~10 minutes) and unable to open beatmap's folder (including folders related to osu! via routes this game provides.) its not impossible to log in but it feels weird because I didnt take any difficulties to log in before I updated the client.

+ everytime I try to download maps, it says that the map file has error and denies to export.

+ video doesnt say but I can't upload + update any maps

I was not able to find more problems, but there might be more problems on them. not certained though.

edit : not sure if this is needed, but going to type a list that I can. there might be some that I missing too

- Exporting a skin to osk file.

- Opening .osu (.osb) in a notepad

- Submitting a score

I tried and it still didnt work.

Can you post the contents of your "runtime.log" right after you get some of those error messages? It should be located in your osu!/Logs folder.

Is it possible that you have some sort of antivirus software (new or old) that is preventing the game from moving files? Please double check to make sure that isn't the case. Could also explain why it is taking so long for you to connect too.

+I cannot place any object on unsubmitted maps. (its possible to place but the code about the object doesnt be written on the .osu notepad and blows them away once I leave the editor. ctrl s doesnt work too)

I can't read Korean, but that "Security warning" just looks like the prompt that appears when you try running something as an administrator? Right click on osu!.exe, go to properties, compatibility, and make sure you don't have the "Run this program as an administrator" checkbox selected. Or make sure you are logged into an account that actually has the correct permission to execute, read, write, etc.

When you say you need to "move osz files to your Songs folder passively in order to download a beatmap." Do you mean you can't double click on the osz files or drag them into the window to get them to open in-game? Does the same error message still pop up when you do that?

And what happens when you drag mp3 files into the game? Are you also still getting the same error message that you were before?

Can you try actually running the game as an administrator again, like it was before, and hit the "repair folder permissions" button in osu!'s settings?

It's because the game needs to extract the osz files itself, and my guess is something is probably preventing it from doing that, be it permissions, some other program on your computer, or some other unknown issue.

When you move a beatmap folder into your songs folder by yourself, I'm assuming that means you've extracted it somewhere else before moving it.

Try holding shift while starting the game until a configuration window pops up, then hit the "repair osu!" button on that window.

I just moved some of maps I have to somewhere before I delete osu and just pasted into there

+ Im pretty sure its about the cpu, because I cant do anything thats related to osu doing works to other programs such likes opening folder, writing the notepad, updating the map to the website, and etc..

I guess osu is installed into a System's folder like "Program files" or something. in that case just reinstalling it into other folder maybe would resolve the issue

Or maybe there are some security software like anti-virus. maybe disabling them would help.

osu! is installed in Local AppData by default, normally the other permissions troubleshooting steps I went through in my previous posts work and there generally isn't a reason osu! shouldn't work in that folder. From Epreus's video though, this doesn't appear to be where they have the game installed. Maybe actually letting it install to the default location would help though.
