Updated to v1.5. I decided to change the hitcircle-overlay and made it thinner than before, because it happened that with the former image, hitcircles looked to be smaller than they actually are, so I made that change that should be more confortable when playing. I also added the Fade In mod icon for osu!mania (as always a new mod is released). osu!mania skin has not progressed yet but it will have. Not HD. I'm not planning it, by the moment. Maybe in the next days or in the next update I'll upload new screenshots of the skin because of the noticeable changes in the skin since the release of v1.0

Wow, this skin's really gorgeous. There were a few things which bugged me slightly, but the whole thing felt really clean and tight.

Things which bugged me:

It's not necessarily the cursor size, but the colour of it. It blends a little bit with the sliderarrows, so for the small cursor, you could make it glow a different colour or something.

The circle and slider borders seem a bit stark to me--perhaps the hitcircle overlay could be a bit narrower or you could just keep the borders white. I think that'd look a bit cleaner.

I think that the reverse arrow could be either more pronounced in shape or that it should merely be changed to a normal, barbed arrow. I guess that it looks a bit strange to have such a flat chevron, even though it's using the shallow angles which are thematic of the skin.

Also, you'll probably have to update the spinner, not to mention other elements, if you want everything to play nice with the new skinning features. If nothing else, include double-sized elements for hi-res use. Also, the SS graphic looks a bit fruity, so I think that it'd be good to use some shading to make it look a bit clearer.

Either way, the skin's lovely and it's pretty much what I'm looking for. I bet that it'd be really satisfying with larger (disc-shaped) hitbursts as well.

Updated to v1.6. This version is a fix of a lot of things that changed in osu's skin design since I released the v1.5, along with some new things. Now the selection-mode is included, with all its modes, and I've included the Random mod icon for osu!mania. I also made all the big elements compatible with widescreen. The playfield, the ranking panel (now made translucid in order to see the map background), the fail and pause background are all now suitable for them (no strange behaviour anymore).

I also decided to discontinue the osu!mania skin and delete it from the skin folder, because of mainly two reasons. The first one, I don't play osu!mania much enough to know how the elements should be to make them confortable to an exprerienced player. The second, that from now I want to focus in a v2.0 update, which will include some of the new skinning features (cursor trail path, particles, 2k) and a fully redone skin, with most of its elements optimized to look better altogether. So I will read and consider every suggestion you can make about any element of the skin you want.

Updated to v1.7. This version includes a few but important graphical fixes and improvements. The most important of all is the change on hitbursts, which change their shape (they become a white-bordered colored circle with the value inside, in white too) and their color (which will be the new default's skin color code: Blue for 300, green for 100 and orange for 50). Now geki's and katu's are not distinguished by normal hits with an exclamation sign (300 for normal hits, 300! for geki and katu), but they only differ from the normal hits from a slight change on circle color. I personally don't mind that much about geki and katu, but that is only my opinion. Also, made misses way more visible than before.

The second update changes again the hitcircle-overlay, which won't have that pink/light red ring anymore, in order to make the hitcircle cleaner and bigger to the eye. Also changed the slider border color to white because of the change in the hitcircle. I know that the transparency in the hitcircle makes a weird effect on the circle which creates a second, thicker light band around the circle. I really don't mind about that and I will keep it as an element of the skin.

About the v2.0 thing, I think that this will be a long-time project, because redoing my skin will be a long work. I am not fully dedicated at this skin progress, and this would take as much time as doing my skin from the beginning to the end (so it is, many months), so don't expect anything in the near future. New ideas for the skin will be added as new 1.x updates until the skin will be redone.

selection-mod-easy.png how about changing it from EZ instead of EA?
selection-mod-autoplay how about changing it from AU to AP
maybe make the glow around SH and XH a bit darker?

selection-mod-autoplay how about changing it from AU to AP I have a problem with this: AP is now AutoPilot in the skin, so I can't change it. I decided to make Autoplay AU when I made the skin because Autoplay is more auto than AutoPilot. If there are different 2-letter standards for them let me know and I'll likely change them.
maybe make the glow around SH and XH a bit darker? If you are talking about the border around the letters, all the borders in all the letters are the same color, so I won't change it. What I can maybechange is the color in the letters to make them a bit darker, but I don't know if you are really talking about that.

yeah. making the letters a bit dark could work, but it's still fine as it is :3

Then I'll look for that in the v2.0 update. I'll surely make the EA-EZ change, and I'll see if changing colors of SH and XH works. I'm so used to that skin that I almost don't see anything wrong on it...

UPDATED TO V2.0

In the beggining I thought this version as a remake of the whole skin, but I ended up making a big update with a lot of changes.

Changes done:
 Score numbers changed from pink to white color
 Ranking panel graph fixed and a bit improved
 Cursor made a little bigger and with more presence
 Fixed a little artifact in hitbursts, it was a thin white ring (almost invisible) outside the cirle.
 Back and Skip buttons made a little more dark in order to have better contrast
 Warning arrows made a little more dark too
 Make Slider ball darker for not to confuse the cursor
 Changed Easy mod letters frome "EA" to "EZ"
 Made SH and XH a little more darker. Now XH is slightly brighter than SH (in earlier versions they were the same color)
 Made SS icon noticeably darker (more orange, less yellow), although still brighter than S design.
 Changed difficulty stars to make them distinguishable
 Changed default numbers typography (hitcircle numbers)
 Changed menu-button-background. Big change, first noticeable. Only to notice that this is a new version of the skin and make it very different from the others.

Discarded changes
:shock:Scorebar (not likely)
 Countdown (not likely)

So, now we have v2.0 here, finally. As you see, I made important changes (as cursor and star ones) that I hope will make the playing experience better. Of course, this is not the last update, we'll have 2.1, and 2.2, as long I feel like changing things to make them look cooler, but from now, I'll take a little rest from it. All kind of comments, if constructive are welcome.

Thank you for downloading! (Download links are in the OP)

Updated to v2.1. I've changed a bit the menu-button-background design and make the black border only in the outline, because it became annoying in the inside. Also added new skinned elements that I didn't skinned before, as play-unranked, spinner-rpm and the inputoverlay thing. All elements may be skinned from now. (I'm fine with the standard mode icons, so I won't change them) From now all new elements skinned will be new elements from future versions.

I checked the main download link and it contains the v2.1.

What I've seen sometimes with the downloads of .osk files that have skins that have in their folders the same name is that newly downloaded .osk is downloaded in osu!\Skins\"name of the skin" (inside the folder of the previously downloaded skin) instead of replacing the previous skin or being downloaded into osu!\Skins directly. I don't know if this is a bug or intended. I could change the name for the folder in every update, if it helps.

only issue i have is that i liked the old star.png more
new one isn't as good :(

apart form that, i have no complaints about moving this

Personally, I want to leave them as they are for now. I prefer readibility over anything else and new star.png makes it better than the old one. Now I can see the difference between 4 1/2 and 5 stars, I couldn't do it before because the difference between 9 and 10 bars isn't noticeable.

I really had a hard time choosing this design.
deadbeat
ok, well that's fine then.
no further issues from me

Updated to v2.2 (HD)

This update is a major update. I finally added all the HD (@2k) elements of the skin, making it softer and more confortable and detailed when playing in high-resolution screens. As I needed to reskin all the elements from scratch to make this update, I also changed some things from prior version.

 Hitcircle-overlay has again a pink band: I really missed them, but I had removed them because too pink seemed annoying for me. I also had some inspiration for that. Now with less pink elements in the screen, it still looks clean and pink isn't absolutely removed from playfield.

 Changed 10 and 30 images from sliders: They looked really out of the rest of the skin, being shadowed instead of overlayed. Now, without being excessively changed, they look according to the rest of the theme.

 Changed random menu button from "Random" to "Rnd" script: It was nothing else than a personal choice. only "Random" along one line with small letters looked a little strange for me.

 Big Cursor (BC and WO300-BC) was remade: Some of you said it to me and I have to give you reason. The former big cursor looked boring. Also, BC version was the least downloaded of all and I understand that part of it is because of this. I changed it in order to have something less boring and (hopefully) more visible for those who want to play with a bigger cursor.

There are some more minor changes too, repairing some strange things the skin had in some elements, which I won't list because I can't remember them all. As always, thank you for the feedback (more than 1200 downloads since 2.0 release!), and I hope those who didn't download it because it hadn't HD now can fully enjoy it.

Updated to v2.3
(finally)

This has been a really minor update, only for technical fixes.

 Fixed an issue with the slider border in the WO300/WO300-BC versions: They were pink when they had to be white. That was a mistake while making the skin.ini in v2.2

 Fixed the new Big Cursor in the BC/WO300-BC versions: It was really uncentered. Now this is fixed at an acceptable level.

 Added the Cinema mod icon: To be consistent with having all the elements skinned (and because having all the mod icons skinned but one is extremely annoying)

For next versions (July, at least) I'm thinking about making a Taiko version as I'm beginning to play this mode seriously. This will be a major addition of new elements so it will take some time.

What mod is that? I didn't even knew it was released.

This skin is a skin thought for making the gameplay more confortable (little score hits, some elements deleted, transparent hitcircles for better streaming, etc.). I made it only with a few design techniques in GIMP (Borders, blur, circles and slashes), and without almost any knowledge of skinning nor designing, so feel free to make me any suggestion you want to improve it and I will consider it.

Click to the image of the version you want and the skin will automatically begin downloading.

UPDATED TO v3.0

Maybe the biggest graphical update to date. I had to adapt the skin to the latest skin behavior version (2.3), and I made a big change in all the skin.

Playfield changes

 Changed hitcircle and hitcircle-overlay: The hitcircle was changed from a plain circle to a more complex shape. The hitcircle-overlay was left as only a white ring.
 Changed hitcircle numbers, added No Number add-on: The numbers were made thinner and smaller in order to fit in the hole made in the hitcircle and make them more stylish. Also added an add-on which replaces the numbers with the inclined rectangle which is tematic to the skin.
 Sliders are now black
 Scorebar remade: Now is thinner and brighter, to match with the new look of the playfield
 New spinner: Spinner adapted to the newest skin behaviour. Cleaner and with blue color
 Small changes in cursor behaviour: Now the cursor trail is only a little track left behind the cursor, instead of the big yellow part.
 Deleted BC version: It was pretty unpopular and neither I did like it. Also, cursor is now redimensionable via osu! options menu.
 Followpoints are now lines!: Same colour patterns, now in linear format

Menu changes

 Added background, fail-background and pause-overlay remade to match it
 Changed menu-button-background: Modified in order to contain the image previews for the new skin behaviour.
 Changed difficulty stars: They are stars now!
 Added all missing mod icons: 1K, 2K, 3K, 9K, Co-op and Target Practice.
 Changed ranking panel: Again, in order to adapt to the new skin behaviour.

Many more small changes were made, but I can't list them all, mainly because many of them are nearly unnoticeable.

Updated to v3.1

This is why you don't rely on puush to make download links. They are broken. Also yes, I'm still alive and working in a 7 year old skin.

Playfield changes

 Changed slider ball: New white round slider ball, that actually looks like a ball.
 Changed hitcircle numbers: Now a little big bigger.
 300s deleted: Skins back in the day had to have 300 icons, but looks this is not the thing anymore.

Menu changes

 Added missing mod icons and rehauled them: Added the score v2 icon and remade the rest. Now Perfect is PF, not SS, and it has a nice gold color to imitate the SS icon.

I plan to make major changes in the skin in the future, but for now I wanted to have a skin that is downloadable, at least.

By the way, does this count as a completed skin anymore?

I know the CTB community is smaller than osu! and osu! mania! (Hardly anybody plays osu! taiko!), but can you please make this compatible with CTB? Thank you! :3
