Hi fanzhen~ Just want to take a look here, random mod (:
[General]-> Hmm, the difficulty gap between Beginner and Hyper is so gigantic here...
-> Your first note starts in 1683ms - really, you don't need to use 1500ms lead-in... (if you want to add lead-in to make the percussion blend-in smoothly, use
500ms instead, it should be enough)
-> Try offset 1694
(+11 ms)? (already tested in 25% playback)
-> Finally,
uncapitalize the "b" in Beatmania IIDX should be recognizable from that Leorda's link orz ._.[Beginner]-> Err... Why no claps here (as you did on Hyper and Another)? Whistle+Finish only sounds good on this diff, but personally I feel like something's missing... >_<
- 00:08:630 (2) - Try to put this lower (~x:150 y:311)? Uhm, actually I want to emphasize (1,2,3)'s arc here (it helps avoid overlap as well~)
- 00:14:946 (2) - (optional) Use a slider wave here perhaps? Flows cute with your next (1) :3
- 00:25:051 (2) - Uhm, I prefer to put the whistle on slider's end as the piano goes with a happy melody there, but if you want to keep consistency it's fine as well (:
- 00:34:525 (3) - Move the midpoint to ~x:260 y:36, it'll help to balance (4)'s curve (:
- 00:37:051 (1) - Hmm, not really fond of this slider's direction personally (as you still have a lot of space below)... I prefer:
- 00:54:735 (3) - orz, what happened to the slider's curve >_< - Try this perhaps?
480,184,54735,2,0,B|432:137|373:160|373:160|304:186|265:127|265:127|136:124,1,359.999971389771,2|2
- 01:01:683 (1) - (optional) I prefer whistle only here to emphasize the finish on (2) (:
- 01:17:998 - Is the 51% here (instead of 50%) intentional? orz, very minor though :3
- 01:27:577 (1) - Add circle here (with finish) and start spinner 1/2 after? (really, the cymbal here is very strong to be ignored ._.)
- 01:47:788 (1) - Why no finish here? T01:52:840 (1) - he cymbals are obvious though >_<
- 01:52:840 (1,2) - (optional) idk, I prefer something like this here ((2) is stacked to (4)'s end) to get a continuous flow with your next (3) :
- 01:57:262 (4) - Same as 01:01:683, but on this case I prefer to reduce this finish's volume~
- 02:13:051 (1) - Same as 01:27:577 here - plus a whistle on spinner's end here might help to accentuate the end (:
[Hyper]- 00:11:472 (4) - Minor stuff... Move the endpoint to ~x:443 y:319 to get a stronger feel from the arc?
- 00:14:314 (1) - (optional) Maybe create something like this for a continuous flow? :3
- 00:14:946 (2) - If you followed above suggestion, you can make this slider's first half encircling (1)'s end (: (new red waypoint on ~x:200 y:147 and new bezier waypoint on x:154 y:133)
- 00:22:525 (1) - Place this in the center (~x:256)? Yes, imo sacrificing the spacing a bit is worth compared to how tidy it will be xD
- 00:27:577 (1) - Silencing slider's end is unrankable (this map got unranked because a slider's end is silenced) - use ~20% instead?
- 00:30:419 (5,1) - (optional) I much prefer something moving here - perhaps stack (5) to (1)'s start, and then CTRL+R (1)?
- 00:44:946 (2) - Curve it downward instead? Flows better with (3,4) imo...
- 00:55:998 (1,2,3,4) - Apply accelerated spacing here? (also gives a better angle here imo! xD)
- 01:07:367 (1,2) - Move both to ~x:4 y:235 (manual stacking) so it will be perfectly stacked to your purple (1)'s start
- 01:08:630 (1) - No whistle here, is it intentional? imo it won't hurt for a whistle here~
- 01:17:472 (1,1) - Here also, I recommend to add whistle for consistency (:
- 01:47:788 (1,1) - (optional) ...to be honest I think CTRL+R'ing these two actually works well~ Not a must though (:
- 01:50:314 (1,1,1) - ...of course you can CTRL+R these three as well, but I don't recommend as much as the two above (as the two above's effects are MUCH greater than these three)
- 02:05:156 (2) - If you listen to the drum sequence carefully the snare actually lands on slider's start, so I recommend a whistle on slider's start as well (:
- 02:10:525 (1) - (optional) Put in ~x:345 y:303 to encircle (5)'s start? (if you do this, don't forget to move 02:11:788 (1) lower as well)
- 02:13:051 (1) - Same as Beginner (you've placed the spinner 1/2 later on 01:27:735... Why not here as well >_<)
[Another]- 00:06:314 (4) - Put in ~x:38 y:233 to avoid overlap? o.o...
- 00:10:840 (3) - Remove the whistle on slider's end here? I can't hear a strong snare as in (4)...
- 00:14:209 (5,1) - Manual-stack both to ~x:501 y:104 to make (4) encircle these two correctly in play mode? Then, if you do this:
- 00:14:946 (3) - Move higher (~y:95) to balance the line~
- 00:30:735 (2) - Why no whistle here (and on (3) as well, if you want)? The vocal goes strong here >_<
- 00:34:525 (3) - (optional) idk... I think placing the slider's end to (3) flows quite forced imo, perhaps try:
- 00:48:419 (1,2,3) - Uhm... Personally I don't really like the linearity here, perhaps let (2) encircle (4) like this?
- 00:57:262 (1,2,3,4) - Same as Hyper about the silenced slider end~
- 01:00:735 (1,2,3) - Hmm, because of how the vocal sounded here and considering (1,2)'s flow as well, I feel an arc flows better here (because your next (1,2) flows in an opposite direction) :
- 01:01:998 (2) - (optional) Use a sudden jump here by placing it above (1)'s start? idk if you feel it'll be too harsh though...
- 01:14:630 (6) - Just a minor correction here (: - move the midpoint to x:288 y:92 to encircle (1) properly?
- 01:19:998 (1,2,3,4) - (optional) A gradual volume increase starting on (1)'s repeat would be fitting the piano much imo (as the piano also uses crescendo here as well)... Your call though :3
- 01:35:788 (3) - ...not really sure if a repeating slider is required here (I don't hear anything strong on the repeat)... I prefer 1/1 slider or two circles separated by 1/1, but currently this slider doesn't sound abrupt though (:
- 01:40:840 (2) - Again here, quite confused with the rhythm... I prefer to remove one repeat on this slider, then:
- 01:41:367 (x) - Add note here stacked above (3)'s start - you won't lose your windmill formation this way, though xD
- 01:46:209 (1) - Add whistle here, as it gives the same vocal pitch as (2) did?
- 02:05:472 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Same as before about the crescendo starting on (1)'s repeat~
- 02:13:051 (1) - (optional) Move to ~x:298 y:126 to make this perfectly centered in your "eye" pattern?
This mapset is wonderful~ To be honest I learned a lot how to map slow 1/6 songs from your map, orz >_<
...actually I think this is ready for a bubble, except for that offset and (most importantly) enormous difficulty gap from Beginner -> Hyper...
Good luck fanzhen~ Dropping star icon for now (:
