While i was playing to Osu this morning i noticed that the Performance Points based Ranking System does not seem so clear and representative to me.
Indeed, your number of PP isn't, most part of the time, representative of your level, your capacities, etc... So, naturally, a question came to my mind : does an other Ranking System exist? not based on Performance Points, but rather on accuracy, speed, marking (SS, S, A, B...), etc...
And, if it doesn't, what would you want to see included in this system ?
I'm a complete neophyte about programming, and even about how to create an equal and balanced ranking system in a game like Osu, but i think that it coud be possible to create a new ranking system taking in account all of these points.
I don't think that i have necessary capacities for such a big project, but it could, at least, be interesting to talk about this, and maybe, if we're lucky, a good programmer will see this and try to create such a new system?

but i'm trying to see the fluctuation of pp total in terms of number of maps and the height of best scores, but i have a little problem : what is the formula to round the weighting ?
