[Archived] I'd like to get my old username back.

I hope I'm not bothering anyone posting this here.

I've been willing to change my username to the first one I used to have,
But in the shop, when checking for the username, it's saying "Username is already in use!".

Is there a rule saying you can't reuse your old username because it's has-been?

I don’t think there is any rule on used names you used. But I would contact accounts@ppy.sh and explain that you want to change your username to your old one but shop says it’s in use. They would be able to change your name but you will more than likely need to pay.

We only grant free reverts for a user's direct previous username (the one shown by hovering their name on their profile). Changes to any other previous names must be purchased via the store. Simply contact accounts@ppy.sh and request your namechange reverted.
