People frequently ask: why is it Lobby 42? Well it's the qualifier lobby in RO128 of the Rekindling tournament in the rank range of 55k-80k. I (Jessechugaga)decided to make a group chat for the members of the lobby to discuss about the tournament. I named the group chat "Lobby 42" because it was the 42nd lobby. We then made a discord server and recruited bunch of people into it. And today we decided to make our own team tournament!

Tournament is a 3v3, 5 players per team osu!Standard tournament.
Team are going to be randomized and consist:
-Top Seed Player
-High Seed Player
-Middle Seed Player
-Low Seed Player
-Bottom Seed Player
Seeds are going to be established by qualifiers.
Qualifiers will consist 2NM/1HD/1HR/1DT.
Rank range for the tourney is 15k - 42k.
There will be no rank buffers for each rank range.
To be eligible, you must be:
- Within the appropriate (effective) rank range till the end of registrations.
- Have not been banned/majorly restricted in the past 12 months.
Tournament consists of just a double-elimination bracket stage
RO32 will be BO7, RO16 and Quarterfinals will be a BO9, Semifinals, Loser's Finals and Winner's Finals are BO11, Grand Finals BO13.
Loser's Matches will use the following pools for the following rounds:
- Loser's Round 1: RO32
- Loser's Round 2 & 3: RO16
- Loser's Round 4 & 5: Quarterfinals
- Loser's Round 6 & 7: Semifinals
- Loser's Finals: Finals
Mappools will have the general structure of 5NM/2HD/2HR/2DT/3FM/1TB, later expanding to 6NM/3HD/3HR/3DT/3FM/1TB from semifinals and onwards.
We reserve the right to deny any and all suspicious accounts/players from participating in the tournament.
Players must abide to the osu! terms of service.
-Qualifiers consists of getting the highest score
-You would have the chance to play the qualifiers pool twice
-For each map you play, you will be awarded a number of points based on the rank you have obtained for a map. (#1 = 1 point)
-Qualifiers are for seeding purposes.
-Tourney will be played in SV2 (Score v2)
-Warmups during Bracket Stages may be no longer than 4 minutes, and warmups are optional.
-There will be a loser's bracket and a bracket reset
-1 ban per team until semifinals and onwards. (2 bans instead)
-Before matches will start, team captains will roll and the one with the highest roll will get to choose rather they pick or ban first. Picks will alternate as well.
-For free mod picks, players have to pick at least 2 mods per team (e.g. 2 players HD or 1 player HDHR), picked from HD, HR, EZ and FL, they can both pick the same mod.
-TB will be played once both teams are in match point.
-If less than 3 players show up to a match, there will be a 15 minutes buffer before the team that did not show up gets automatically forfeited.
-If both team has less than 3 players show up, match will be rescheduled to another time.
-If a player disconnects within 30 seconds of a map, the referee will abort the match, if after the the point would be awarded to the winning team.
-EZ points will be doubled after qualifiers.
-Badge weighting System is applied.
