Hey, I'm Jesse and this is my first tournament! You might know me from dozens of other tournaments. I was always interested in hosting my own and with my knowledge of all the others I've been in, I hope I make a good host!
This is a 10k-50k with a 500 rank buffer (9.5k-50.5k)
It is a 1v1 with double elimination and a bracket reset. Matches will be played in SV2 and in head to head mode.

General rules
-You must be in the discord to participate
-BWS (Badge weighting system) IS APPLIED(Formula is in the discord server)
-This tournament is in SV2 (Score v2)
-It is a 1v1 with a rank #10k-50k with a 500 rank buffer (#9.5k-50.5k)
-It starts with a qualifier stage where the goal is to get a score higher than the cut off (higher score than the player that passes the qualifier stage in last)
-You will have the chance to play the qualifier maps twice
-Bracket stage will be in double elimination (Loser’s bracker and Winner’s bracket)
-There will be a bracket reset at the grand finals
-Qualifiers pool will have 3NM, 1HR, 1HD, 1DT, 1FM
-Bracket stages should have 5NM, 2HR, 2HD, 2DT, 3FM, 1TB (TBD)
-Top 32 players will pass the qualifiers unless there is more than 90 signups where 64 will pass leading to a **GROUP STAGE**(UPDATED)
-Group stage will be BO7 on all matches
-RO32 will be BO9, RO16 BO9, QF BO9, SF BO11, Finals BO11, GF BO13
Match rules
-1 ban per player
-both player rolls at the beginning with ref in the lobby
-Winner of roll picks first | Loser of roll bans first
-Warmups are are played if ref **and** both players agree. Therefore there is no limit on the length of the warmup, it's all based on the consent of the players and the ref.
-Players cannot ban from the same mod pool*
-Players may pick from the same mod pool more than once in a row
-Freemod picks is forcemod and you must pick between HR,HD,FL,EZ
-EZ scores will not be doubled
-TB will be played once both players reach match point
-In case of a disconnection within 30 second of a map, the referee MUST abort the match and replay the map.
-Only 1 disconnection within 30 seconds will be aborted. Point will go to the player still in the lobby at the second disconnection.
*This is a non standard rule I wish to apply to this tournament. It ensures all mod pools to always be open and allows some interesting strategizing (Banning the Hidden consistency pick therefore getting a free point on the AR8 hidden because your opponent cannot ban it)
Scheduling rules
-If you are unable to play at the implied time, reschedules are allowed
-Reschedules must be put in the discord with proof of both players agreeing to the reschedule
-Reschedules must be in the discord channel ATLEAST 24 hours before the match itself or the match will not be rescheduled
-If a player does not show up and does not message me or any other staff in discord and did not reschedule, they forfeit the match
-If a referee does not show up in more than 15 minutes, tag another referee but if no one is available it will be rescheduled.
-On the player signups form respond with “inquisitives sex” for “Consult the forum post for this question (no meme)”
