[Archived] Settings get reset on opening

Problem details:
Hi,I just reinstalled the game after a full pc cleaning, and everytime I open it all the settings, including my account are reset.
I tried installing it again, and opening it with the admin authorisation.
What should I do? Does it sound familiar?
I couldn't find any forum talking about this problem soooo, yep!

When you uninstall the game, everything gets deleted. So your settings wouldn't stay.

Do you mean it still doesn't save, even after setting everything and then restarting?

Make sure osu! didn't install itself to a %temp% directory somehow.

Yes your second guess is the right one. Everything resets when I restart the game, as if I just installed it. Fresh new.

The game installed itself in the same file as it did before I cleaned my pc (the default one).

Hope you can find a solution, otherwise I guess I won't play as often as before because setting the all game up everytime is kind of disappointing :/
