Which are the differences btw tablets

I have a HUION 420 and the more big difference is the weight of the pencil (it use battery). But I guess the performance is the same compared to others, is that true? Or are there more differences betwen tablets?
(obviously there are specifications like the size but it does not matters in osu cause almost nobody use full area)
Edit: does the software affects the performance too?
