Hardwell is de artiestennaam van Robbert van de Corput, een Nederlands dj afkomstig uit Breda. Hij is vooral actief in het maken van housemuziek. Hiernaast maakt Hardwell ook regelmatig remixes van bestaande liedjes.

Robbert van de Corput, better known by his stage name Hardwell (born in Breda, Netherlands) is a Dutch progressive and electro house DJ and music producer. Breaking into the scene in 2009 with his bootleg of "Show Me Love vs. Be", he has produced multiple hit EDM singles such as "Encoded" and "Cobra" and also made collaborations and toured with Tiësto.

General
The storyboard is pretty baller but has a few problems. I'm not a storyboarding pro, but here's what I can make out:

energy.png Fade lasts until 02:13:929, far, far longer than the end of the mp3 and there's absolutely no reason for it. Cut the Fade effect of energy.png at 01:53:234.

Although it doesn't matter much given the SB load isn't that bad, one thing you can do is crop all the energy.png images except the one that makes up the background of the map and trim them as close to the edge of the flamey ball thingy as possible.

Contact a storyboard pro for more help.

Misja's Easy
The volume in the first timing section at 00:04:320 are too loud. Lower it to %25. Also, Timing Section 00:34:294's hitsound volume is too loud. Lower it to about 70%.

Don't use so many sliders. At least on an easy difficulty, create an even number of circle and sliders. Hell, on my Easy difficulties, the circles outnumber the sliders.

Center some of your notes and place more of them on the left side of the screen. It feels like the majority of the notes are on the right. It just feels really weird.

The first section of the song (00:04:320 - 00:19:320) follows something of an alternate beat as shown in Normal. The beat is on a 1/4 divisor. According to music theory, if your first note falls on a downbeat (white tick), the rest of the timeline pattern can have any sort of combination of sliders and note placement you'd like. So, this section of the song (the intro i guess) has notes that alternate on a 1/4.

You can potentially play this section with a timeline pattern such as this, and nobody would bat an eye because it forms a steady beat anyway:



Given this is Easy, all of the notes fall on 1/1...except they shouldn't because none of those notes fall on anything in the song, which is just boring to play. Provided with the fact, that there is a defined beat that simply just falls on 1/4 rather than 1/1, we would be able to create a timeline pattern without confusing new players. Almost like a fake beat.

Here's an example of a timeline pattern I created on Easy, beginning at 00:04:320. I think it might be too hard though. What you have to do is experiment with it, really, and just create patterns that fall on the 1/4 beat.



You don't have to do this pattern as it's strictly an example, but I do want you to experiment with the placement on this section of this difficulty.

00:19:320 (1,2,3,4) - Slider repeating over 2 are unrankable if I recall. Also boring to play. This is done a few more times without the map so I feel no need to point it out.
00:27:288 (2,3) - Don't stack these.
00:48:382 (4) - There's not really any need for this timing section and it feels weird to play.
00:54:945 (1) - Don't stack sliders underneath sliders on Easy.
01:10:882 (5) - Slider is touching HP bar.

01:26:468 (2,3) - Align these so they stack.
Other than that it's fine methinks. Strongest diff in the set.

For some reason the timeline patterns on this difficulty feel...awkward compared to Hard.
00:26:820 (1,2,3) - All of the notes in this stream are too far apart. Also, the placement of them isn't very elegant looking.
01:05:843 (7,8) - Move (8) below (7), it's placement is confusing.

Lacking hitsounds at the start like Normal. Please add hitsounds. Also this diff should have more jumps I think. The beat supports lots of jumps and this follows snap where it could be taking advantage of the upbeat rhythm. Here's an example here: 00:49:788 (2,3) - < this combo would work nice for increased combo segments. http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/334729 < not lined up the best but this works well there... I would like to see more jumps like that during the first half of the difficulty. Up to you though.

00:11:820 - Please map this gap. It doesn't make any sense to have a gap here.
00:22:015 (3,4) - I don't see the point in making this differently spaced.
00:23:070 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I think the beat is more like this. http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/334718 I think you should go through the intro and listen closely to see if you're skipping over beats or not. It may seem like it plays right at first but you'll find that it's only slightly like the actual beat.
00:38:070 (1,2) - Stack better by turning grid snap off and turning distance snap to 0.0
00:45:570 (1,2) - ^ (check a lot of your stacks to see if they can be stacked better. I know it's nazi, but it couldn't hurt.)

Easy

Seems fine. I guess it doesn't really need to be on beat to play well for an Easy. Still just great hitsounding. I love it for the most part. However those parts where the hitsounding gets quiet. It might be difficult to read for some players, because it's kind of disorienting to have the sound just randomly cut out. I'm mostly concerned about that slider that repeats during the sound cutoff. If you could perhaps make that area a bit more readable, I think it would be perfect!

Normal

Remove audio lead-in. It's pointless.

I suggest making that note 5 at -49:320 60% volume like the previous combo. You can add another inherited on the red tick after to bring the volume down to 40% again.

Intro is much improved. It's a lot better without the overlap. However 1.4 distance snap is too quick for a Normal. Please snap to 1.2 through out that slider section. 1.2 is about the limit for how fast those sliders can be read for a Normal difficulty and there's still really no overlap at 1.2.

Hard

Went over hitsounding in irc. That kiai time didn't sound great and some of the triples were in the wrong place. Hopefully the next update will have a much more intuitive hitsounding pattern that uses more of the beat, and it will sound and play better.

Update: Hitsounding is definitely better. However I'll just clarify my orignal suggestion in irc since I had to update my suggestion after I mentioned it. I think I updated it again. Sorry ayu for giving you the run around.

I have to mention though my rhythms tend to change through here. Basically this rhythm would sound nice with a lot of different clap rhythms. The main thing though is finding a clap rhythm that is suitable to hit those triples. It can be done with clap, clap, clap, but you need more claps on all the other sliders.

00:35:023 (3) - Add clap to the end of this, because I think the only way it's going to be readable as a stack is if it's 3 claps.

In my opinion you should put less 1/4 in a normal diff, but thats just my opinion.

Hard:
Everything is quite good up to 01:20:257 (1) , after that the mapping gets quite monotonous.
You should try to vary more (like in the collab diff) even if the song is so monotonous at the end.

No major problems found.

Collab:
00:12:288 (2) - 00:14:163 (2) - Don't like that two sliders, they doesn't really fit into the music.
00:26:820 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Quite hard spaced, maybe space it like the second stream you have in your diff.
