[Archived] Osu updater for Mac?

I play osu on my mac and there's always a little popup that says, "ERROR: Your version of Osu! is too old to submit scores! Please run the updater." I'm not sure if there's an updater for osu, but I'd just like to get rid of it so I can submit my scores. I really appreciate if there's a way to fix this!

You are most likely on the Stable (Fallback) release stream, which is an outdated version of the game. As such, score submission on maps ranked after October 22nd is disabled.

Try changing your release stream to Stable (Latest) in the options menu. If you can't do that, you are probably on the Stable macOS release which means you are locked on Fallback. In this case you should download either the Unofficial update (recommended) or the Alpha release from http://osx.ppy.sh, both of which allow you to change to other release streams.
