That, nowadays you get tons of announcements, of which 99% are things you don't really care, wouldn't it be cool to add some kind of option where you could "check" the kind of announcements we want to see?
Like let's say I just want to see when someone get's a #1. or when some map gets ranked. This could give a better use to that channel that's pretty much useless spam that probably no one cares about (X map now has 10.000 plays!).
Something that could be changed too, is making announcements something more notable, since if you can decide what to get informed about you won't really care if you get some pop-up about it. Like getting a little bar coming from the bottom saying "X map is now ranked!" or "#X got #1 at X map!". It could be interesting too that you could be just informed (if you want) of #1 scores your friends just got.
