[Archived] Can i restore a deleted beatmap?

So I was editing a beatmap, because it was bad and I wanted to improve it. But then because of "update to latest version" my progress got deleted and the old map was overwritten over the edited one.

Is there some way to restore that overwritten beatmap? Or do i have to start again?

Btw: Old map was uploaded (currently in Graveyard)

Only way to recover the file is if it was in your Recycling bin, but unlikely that it's there.

Whenever you edit a map that has been uploaded, osu! see's the mismatch and assumes you have an outdated version, which then prompts you to update. If you are working on a map with unuploaded changes, please ignore that button in the future.

I'll give you some advice, if you're new to creating a beatmap, I recommend you always copy the beatmap you're creating in another file, to have it as a spare...
