[Archived] "This beatmap you're trying to submit isn't yours"

Problem details: I decided to make my first serious beat-map so that I could play with my friends, and I decided to pick a song called Dodge & Fuski - Flat Line (feat. Virus Syndicate). When I go to upload the beat-map, however, it states that "This beat-map you're trying to submit isn't yours!" despite me starting said beat-map from scratch and double-checking to make sure no one else made a beat-map of this song beforehand.

I don't know if it's just me being stupid on my end but I'm certain I downloaded the song and created it as a new file.

I followed the guide up until "Delete the file(s) in the SubmissionCache folder in the osu! installation folder."

I don't know where osu!'s installation folder is...

Right-click the osu! icon in your desktop->Open File Location.

Or you can simply click on "Open osu! folder" in the osu! options menu.
